the
interior
mirror
LED
starts
flashing
slowly,
hold
the
hand-held
transmitj
ter
for
the
system
to
be
controlled
approx.
1
to
3
inches/2.5
to
8
cm
away
from
the
butj
tons
of
the
interior
mirror.
The
required
disj
tance
depends
on
the
hand-held
transmitter.
4. Likewise,
press
and
hold
the
button
of
the
desired
function
on
the
hand-held
transmitj
ter.

both
buttons
as
soon
as
the
interior
mirror
LED
flashes
more
rapidly.
The
LED
flashing
faster
indicates

button

mirror

been
programmed.

system

be
controlled

the
LED
does
not
flash
faster
after

most

distance

programming

attempts

different
distances

programming
with
the
hand-held
transmitter

interrupted,
hold
down
the

press

release
the

transmitter
button

The
digital
compass

calibrated
in

the

travel.

points
of
the
compass
are
displayed.
Procedure
1. Make
sure
that
there
are
no
large
metallic
obj
jects
or
overhead
power
lines
near
the
vehicle
and
that
there
is
sufficient
room
to
drive
around
in
a
circle.
2. Set
the
currently
applicable
compass
zone.
3. Press
and
hold
the
control
button
for
approx.
6
to
7
seconds
so
that
C
appears
on
the
display.
Next,
drive
in
a
complete
circle
at
least
once
at
a
speed
of
no
more
than
4
mph/7
km/h.
If
calibration
is
successful,
the
C
is
replaced
by
the
points
of
the
compass.
