General
Thehighpowerenginegeneratesamaximum powerof317kW,withCompetitionpackage 331kWandamaximumtorqueof550Nmfrom3litresofcapacity.
ThemaximumpowerfortheM3CSis338kW andthemaximumtorque600Nm.
Thespontaneousresponsivenessofthehigh-
performanceengineproducesaverybroadusaj
bleenginespeedrange.Themaximumengine speediselectronicallyregulatedat7600rpm.

MCarbonceramicbrakes
Thehighperformancebrakesystemhasventilaj tedcarbon-ceramicbrakediscs.
Dependingonthematerial-specificproperties,
therecanbeincreasedfunctionalnoiseswhen braking,particularlywhenitiswet,shortlybefore
thevehiclecomestoastop.Increasedfunctional noiseshavenoeffectontheefficiency,operajtionalsafetyandenduranceofthebrake.
Duetotheeffectofwetnessandsaltspray,for
example,afterusingacarwash,condensation overnight,drivinginrainetc.,thebrakingeffectmaycorrespondtoaconventionalbrakingsysj
tem.Thebrakingeffectmaybeperceivedtobe
reducedandcanbecompensatedforbygreater
pedalpressure,asneeded.
Firstcleanbrakediscsandcalliperswithasteam
cleanerorhigh-pressurecleanerbeforewashing
