The vehicle offers various functions which rej quire data to be transferred to BMW or a servj ice provider. The transfer of data can be deacj
tivated for some functions.
General If data function has been deactivated for a
function, then that function cannot be used.

Principle Depending on use, the vehicle stores personal
data such as saved radio stations. This perj
sonal data can be permanently deleted using iDrive.
General Depending on the equipment installed in yourvehicle, the following data can be deleted:
'yDriver profile settings.'ySaved radio stations.'ySaved Favourites buttons.'yTrip and on-board computer values.'yMusic hard disc.'yNavigation, for example saved destinaj

It can take up to 15 minutes in total to delete
data.

Why could the mobile telephone not be paired
or connected 'yToo many Bluetooth devices are paired to the mobile telephone or the vehicle.
In the vehicle, delete Bluetooth connecj
tions with other devices.
Delete all known Bluetooth connections
from the device list on the mobile telej
phone and start a new device search.'yThe mobile telephone is in power-save
mode or the battery is low.
Charge up the mobile telephone.'yIt might be the case that only one mobile telephone can be connected to the vehicle,depending on the mobile telephone.

Common file systems are supported. Forj mats FAT32 and exFAT are recommenj
