are

in

vehicle.

are

control
devices
which
manage
comfort
or
infotainment
functions.
Electronic
control
devices
contain
data

can
temporarily

vehicle's

technical
events
and
faults.
This
information
generally
documents
the

of
a
component,

system

being
carried
out,

warranty

technical information
can
be
read
out
from
the
vehicle

the

identification

the
manufacturer
or
another
qualified

specialist
workshop
can
read
out
the
information.
The
legally
required
on-board
diagnostics
(OBD)
socket
in
the
vehicle
is
used
to
read
out
the
data.
The
data
is

ted,
processed
and
used
by
the
relevant
