LEDontherearviewmirrorstartstoflash
slowlyorange.6.ReleasethebuttonassoonastheLED flashesfastergreenorilluminates.Thegreenlightindicatesthatthebuttonontherearview
mirrorhasbeenprogrammed.Fastergreen
flashingindicatesthatthisisanalternating-
coderadiosystem.
IftheLEDdoesnotstarttoflashfasteraftera maximumof60seconds,changethedisj
tancebetweentherearviewmirrorandhand-
heldtransmitter,andrepeatthestep.Several attemptsatvariousdistancesmaybenecesj
sary.Waitatleast15secondsbetweenatj

Thesystemscanbeoperatedwiththebuttons ontherearviewmirror.
Specialinstructionforalternating-
coderadiosystems
Ifthesystemcannotbeoperatedafterrepeated
programming,checkwhetherthesystemtobe
operatedisequippedwithanalternating-code radiosystem.
Todothis,consultintheusermanualofthesysj
temorholddowntheprogrammedbuttononthe
rearviewmirrorforlonger.IftheLEDontherearj viewmirrorfirstflashesrapidlyandthenillumij
natesconstantlyfor2seconds,thesystemis equippedwithanalternating-coderadiosystem.
TheflashingandilluminatingoftheLEDrepeats
forapproximately20seconds.
Forsystemswithanalternating-coderadiosysj
tem,theintegrateduniversalremotecontroland
thesystemmustalsobesynchronised.
Pleasefindinformationonthesynchronisationin
theusermanualofthesystemtobeset.
Tomakesynchronisationeasier,enlisttheassisj
tanceofasecondperson.
Synchroniseintegrateduniversalremotecontrol
withsystem:1.Parkyourvehiclewithintherangeofthe
radio-remote-controlledsystem.2.Programthecorrespondingbuttononthe rearviewmirrorasdescribed.3.Locateandpressthesynchronisationbuttononthesystembeingset.Thenextstepmustbecarriedoutwithinapproximately30secj
onds.4.Holddowntheprogrammedbuttononthe
rearviewmirrorfor3secondsandthenrej lease.Repeatthisstepasneededuptothree

15secondsbetweenattempts.
Operation
WARNING
Partsofthebodycanbecometrappedwhen operatingradio-controlledsystems,forexampleagaragedoor,withtheintegrateduniversalrejmotecontrol.Thereisadangerofinjuryordamagetoproperty.Whenprogrammingandoperating,makesurethattheareaofmovej
mentoftheparticularsystemiskeptclear.Also followthesafetynotessuppliedwiththehand-
heldtransmitter.
Thesystem,forexamplethegaragedoor,canbe
operatedusingthebuttonontherearviewmirror
whenthedrive-readystateorstandbystateis
switchedon.Todothis,pressandholdthebutj
tonwithinthereceptionrangeofthesystem,unj
tilthefunctionistriggered.TheLEDontherearj viewmirrorilluminatesconstantlywhentheradio
signalisbeingtransmitted.
Deletingsavedfunctions Simultaneouslypressandholdthetwoouter
buttonsontherearviewmirrorforapproximately. 10secondsuntiltheLEDflashesrapidlygreen.Allsavedfunctionsaredeleted.Itisnotpossibletoclearfunctionsindividually.
