High
performance
engine
General
With
a
displacement
of
4.4
litres,
the
V8
high-
performance
engine
generates
a
maximum
power
of
441
kW,
with
Competition
package 460
kW,
and
a
maximum
torque
of
750
Nm.
With
its
spontaneous
responsiveness,
a
very
broad
usable
engine
speed
range
is
produced.
The maximum
engine
speed
is
electronically
regulaj
ted
at
7200
rpm.
Due
to
the
powerful
engine
dyj namics,
the
maximum
engine
speed
is
limitedwhen
the
vehicle
is
stationary.
Driving
hot During
the
engine
warm-up
phase,
the
high
perj
formance
engine
runs
slightly
more
roughly
due
to
the
emission
control.
When
the
engine
is
cold,
the
exhaust
has
a
slightly
metallic
undertone,
depending
on
the system.

brakes
General
The
high
performance
brake
system
has
ventilaj
ted
compound
brake
discs.
The
specific
design
can
cause
temporary
funcj
tional
noises
to
occur
after
a
long
period
of
low loading.
The
functional
noises
have
no
effect
on
the
effij ciency,
operational
safety
or
endurance
of
the brake.
Braking
correctly To
avoid
functional
noises,
it
is
desirable
to
load
them
at
regular
intervals
with
some
shaper
brakj
ing
operations.
Make
sure
that
the
traffic
situaj
tion
permits
the
braking
operations.
If
the
brake
discs
are
wet,
the
brake
system
can be
braked
dry
to
stop
any
noise.

Carbon
ceramic
brakes
General The
high
performance
brake
system
has
ventilaj
ted
carbon-ceramic
brake
discs.
The
material-specific
properties
can
cause
inj
creased
functional
noises
when
braking,

ample
during
a
long

low
loading
or
shortly
before
the
vehicle

have

Braking
and
washing
correctlyTo
avoid
functional
noises,
it

desirable
to
loadthem
at
regular
intervals

shaper

Make
sure

the
traffic

the
braking

are
wet,
the
brake

First
clean
brake
discs

callipers
with
a
steam
cleaner

to
form
