Comfortposition
If the glass sunroof is not completely opened
automatically, the comfort position has been
attained. In this position the wind noises in the
interior are the least.
If desired, continue the movement by pressing
the switch.
Jamprotectionsystem
Generalinformation
If the closing force when closing the glass sunj
roof exceeds a certain value, the closing movej ment is stopped, beginning at approximately
the middle of the opening in the roof, or from
the tilted position during closing. The glass
sunroof opens slightly.
Closingfromtheopenposition

If there is an external danger, proceed as folj
lows:1.Push the switch forward past the resistj
ance point and hold.
The glass sunroof closes with limited jam protection . If the closing force exceeds aspecific threshold, closing is interrupted.2.Push the switch forward again past the rej
sistance point and hold until the glass sunj
roof closes without jam protection . Make sure that the closing area is clear.

Generalinformation
After a power failure during the opening or closing process, the glass sunroof can only be
operated to a limited extent.

tion.'yThe engine is running.'yThe external temperature is above

Sittingsafely
An ideal seating position that meets the needs
of the occupants can make a vital contribution to relaxed, fatigue-free driving.
In the event of an accident, the correct seating

Seat adjustments while driving can lead
to unexpected movements of the seat. Vehicle
control could be lost. There is a risk of an accij
dent. Only adjust the seat on the driver's side
when the vehicle is stationary.'

Pull the lever at the front of the seat and adjustthe thigh support.
Lumbarsupport The curvature of the seat backrest can be adj
justed in a way that it supports the lumbar rej gion of the spine. The lower back and thespine are supported for upright posture.

Backrestwidth
You can change the width of the backrest usjing the side wings to adjust the lateral support.

Seat heating
Switchingon Press button once for each temperajture level.
The maximum temperature is reached when three LEDs are lit.
If the trip is continued within approx. 15 mij
nutes after a stop, seat heating is activated auj
tomatically with the temperature selected last.
When ECO PRO is activated, the heater output
is reduced.
Switchingoff Press and hold the button, until the
LEDs go out.

Safetyinformation WARNING
There is a risk of jamming when folding
down the center armrest in the rear. There is a
risk of injury. Make sure that the area of movej
ment of the center armrest is clear during foldj
ing down.'

Backresttilt
Pull the strap and apply your weight to thebackrest or lift it off, as necessary.
Safetybelts Numberofsafetybelts
The vehicle is fitted with five safety belts to enj
sure occupant safety. However, they can only offer protection when adjusted correctly.
The two outer safety belt buckles of the rear
seat are intended for the persons sitting on the
left and right.
The center safety belt buckles of the rear seat are intended for the persons sitting in the midj
dle.
Generalinformation
Always make sure that safety belts are being
worn by all occupants before driving off. Alj
though airbags enhance safety by providing added protection, they are not a substitute forsafety belts.
Slowly guide the safety belt out of the holder when fastening it.
The upper shoulder strap's anchorage point
will be correct for adult seat occupants of evj ery build if the seat is correctly adjusted.
Safetyinformation
WARNING
If the safety belt is used to buckle more
than one person, the protective effect of the safety belt can no longer be ensured. There is
a risk of injuries or danger to life. Do not allow more than one person to wear a single safety
belt. Infants and children are not allowed on an occupant's lap, but must be transported andsecured in designated child restraint sysj
tems.'

Two driver's seat and exterior mirror positions
can be stored per driver profile, refer to page 44, and called up. Settings for the backj
rest width and lumbar support are not stored in memory.

Using the memory function while driving
can lead to unexpected movements of the
seat. Vehicle control could be lost. There is a
risk of an accident. Only retrieve the memory
function when the vehicle is stationary.'
