Memoryfunction
Concept
The following settings can be stored and, if necj
essary, retrieved using the memory function:
'xSeat position.'xExterior mirror position.'xHeight of the Head-up Display.
Storing
1.Switch on the ignition.2.Set the desired position.3. Press button. The LED in the button
lights up.4.Press selected button 1 or 2 while the LED is
lit. The LED goes out.
Callingupsettings
The stored position is called up automatically.
Press selected button 1 or 2.
The procedure stops when a switch for setting
the seat or one of the memory buttons is
pressed.
While driving, the seat position adjustment on the driver's side is interrupted after a short time.

Concept The iDrive combines the functions of manyswitches. These functions can be operated via
the Controller and, depending on the equipment version, the touchscreen.

To prevent the vehicle from creeping after you
select a drive mode or reverse, maintain pressure on the brake pedal until you are ready to start.
Selectorleverlock
A lock prevents an inadvertent change from sej
lector lever position P to another selector lever position and, depending on the transmission verj
sion, inadvertent switching to selector lever posij tion P or R.
To release the lock: with the brake pedal dej pressed, press the button on the front or side ofthe selector lever.
