1.Press the rear edge of the fuel filler flap toopen it.2.Turn the fuel cap counterclockwise.3.Place the fuel cap in the bracket attached to
the fuel filler flap.
Gasoline
For the best fuel efficiency, the gasoline should
be sulfur-free or very low in sulfur content.
Refuel only with unleaded gasoline without metj
allic additives.
Information on the recommended fuel grade can be found in the Owner's Manual.

inflation
pressure
specifications
The tire inflation pressure values can be found on the sign on the door pillar.
After
correcting
the
tire
inflation
pressure
Reinitialize the Flat Tire Monitor.
Reset the Tire Pressure Monitor.
Checking
the
tire
inflation
pressure Regularly check the tire inflation pressure and
correct it as needed:'xAt least twice a month.'xBefore embarking on an extended trip.
Electronic
oil
measurement
Requirements A current measured value is available after apj
prox. 30 minutes of driving. During a shorter trip,
the status of the last, sufficiently long trip is disj
played.

General
information Switch off the ignition and safely park the vehiclebefore engine oil is added.

Concept
The iDrive combines the functions of many
switches. These functions can be operated via
the Controller and, depending on the equipment
version, the touchscreen.
Safety
information
WARNING
Operating the integrated information systems and communication devices while driving can
distract from traffic. It is possible to lose control of the vehicle. There is a risk of an accident.
Only use the systems or devices when the trafj fic situation allows. As warranted, stop and usethe systems and devices while the vehicle isstationary.

information To clean the Control Display, follow the care injstructions, refer to page 291.
In the case of very high temperatures on the Control Display, for instance due to intense solar
radiation, the brightness may be reduced down
to complete deactivation. Once the temperature
is reduced, for instance through shade or air conj
ditioning, the normal functions are restored.

NOTE
Objects in the area in the front of the Control Display can shift and damage the Control Disj
play. There is a risk of damage to property. Do
not place objects in the area in front of the
Control Display.
