Enteringlettersandnumbers
Entering letters requires some practice at the
beginning. When entering, pay attention to the
following:'yThe system distinguishes between upper and lower-case letters and numbers. Tomake entries, it may be necessary to
change between upper and lower-case letj
ters, numbers and characters, refer to
page 27.'yEnter characters as they are displayed on
the Control Display.'yAlways enter associated characters, such
as accents or periods so that the letter can
be clearly recognized. The set language determines what input is possible. Where
necessary, enter special characters via the
Controller.'yTo delete a character, swipe to the left on the touchpad.'yTo enter a blank space, swipe to the rightin the center of the touchpad.'yTo enter a hyphen, swipe to the right in theupper area of the touchpad.'yTo enter an underscore, swipe to the rightin the lower area of the touchpad.

Concept
Depending on the usage, the vehicle stores personal data, such as stored radio stations.
This personal data can be permanently deleted
using iDrive.

Depending on the equipment package, the folj

Altogether, the deletion of the data can take up
to 30 minutes.
