mechanical
key.
If
the
display
key
is
used,the
mechanical
key
should
be
carried
with

the

key

used
like

integrated
key,

The
display
key
supports
all
functions
of
the standard
remote
control.
In
addition,
the
following
functions
are

Resetting
the
BMW
display
key
If
the
charged
display
key
cannot
be
switched
on anymore
or
if
the
display

not
respond

anymore,

display
key

reset.
Press
and
hold
the
button

the
left
side
of
the
display
key
for
at
least
20
seconds,
until
somej
thing
appears
on
the
display.
Integrated
key
General
information The
driver's
door
can
be
locked
and
unlocked
without
remote
control
using
the
integrated
key.
The
integrated
key
also
fits
the
glove
compartjment.

The
tailgate
can
be
opened
and
closed
with
no-
touch
activation
using
the
remote
control
you
are carrying.
Two
sensors
detect
a
forward-directedfoot
motion
in
the
central
rear
area
and
the
tailj
gate
is
opened
and
closed.
General
information
To
avoid
locking
it
in
the
vehicle,
do
not
place
the remote
control
in
the
cargo
area.
If
the
remote
control
is
in
the
sensor
area,
the tailgate
can
be
opened
or
closed
inadvertently
by
an
unconscious
or
alleged
recognized
foot
movement.
The
sensor
has
an
approximate
range
of 5
ft/1.50
m
extending
from
the
rear
of
the
vehij
cle.
If
the
tailgate
is
opened
with
no-touch
activation,
locked
doors
are
not
unlocked.
You
can
configure
if
only
the
upper
tailgate
will
open
or
if
the
upper
and
lower
tailgate
