Comfortposition
In some models, the wind noises in the car's
interior are lowest when the glass sunroof is
not fully open. In these models, the automatic
function initially only opens the glass sunroof
up to this comfort position.
Pressing the switch again opens the glass sunj
roof fully.

Generalinformation
If the closing force exceeds a certain value when closing the glass sunroof, the closing opj
eration is interrupted once the roof reaches the half-open position, or it is stopped when closj
ing from the tilted position. The glass sunroof
opens slightly.

The seat cushion and backrest surfaces are cooled by means of integrated fans.
The ventilation cools the seat, for instance if the car's interior is overheated or for continujous cooling at high temperatures.

The highest level is active when three LEDs
are lit.
The ventilation switches back by one level afj ter a short time.

Safetybelts Numberofsafetybeltsandsafetybelt
buckles
The vehicle is fitted with five safety belts to enjsure occupant safety. However, they can onlyoffer protection when adjusted correctly.
The two outer safety belt buckles of the rear
seat are intended for the persons sitting on the
left and right.
The center safety belt buckle of the rear seat is
intended for the person sitting in the middle.
Generalinformation Always make sure that safety belts are being
worn by all occupants before driving off. Alj
though airbags enhance safety by providing
added protection, they are not a substitute for safety belts.
The upper shoulder strap's anchorage point
will be correct for adult seat occupants of evj ery build if the seat is correctly adjusted.
Safetyinformation WARNING
Use of a safety belt to buckle more than
one person will potentially defeat the ability of the safety belt to serve its protective funcjtion.There is a risk of injuries or danger to life.
Do not allow more than one person to wear a single safety belt. Infants and children are not
allowed on an occupant's lap, but must be
transported and secured in designated child restraint systems.'

'yDo not rub the safety belt against sharpedges, or guide it or jam it in across hard or
fragile objects.'yAvoid thick clothing.'yRe-tighten the safety belt frequently upj
ward around your upper body.
Bucklingthesafetybelt
1.Slowly guide the safety belt out of the holder when fastening it.2.Insert the tongue plate into the safety belt
buckle. The safety belt buckle must enj
gage audibly.
To ease accessibility to the safety belt buckle,
an adjustable slider is available on the belt to help position the buckle when not in use.
When the safety belt is buckled, the belt strap
is automatically tightened once after the vehij
cle drove off.

Displayintheinstrumentcluster The indicator light lights up and a sigjnal sounds. Make sure that the safety
belts are positioned correctly. The
safety belt reminder can also be activated if
objects are placed on the front passenger seat.
Safetymode
In critical situations, for instance during an
emergency stop, the front safety belts tighten automatically.
If the situation passes without an accident ocj
curring, the belt tension relaxes.
If the belt tension does not loosen automatij cally, stop the vehicle and unbuckle the safetybelt using the red button in the buckle. Fasten
the safety belt before continuing on your trip.

moved or not correctly adjusted head rej
straints can cause injuries in the head and neck area. There is a risk of injury.'yBefore driving, install the removed head rej
straints on the occupied seats.'yAdjust the head restraint so its center supj ports the back of the head at as close to
eye level as possible.'yAdjust the distance so that the head rej straint is as close as possible to the back of
the head. Adjust the distance via the backj rest tilt as needed.'
