Automatic Transmission DEXRON ULV Automatic Transmission Fluid. Engine Coolant 50/50 mixture of clean, drinkable water and use only DEX-COOL Coolant. See
Cooling System 0343.
Engine Oil Engine oil meeting the dexos1 specification of the proper SAE viscosity grade.
ACDelco dexos1 full synthetic is recommended. See Engine Oil0336.
Hood Latch Assembly, Secondary Latch,
Pivots, Spring Anchor, and Release Pawl Lubricant meeting requirements of NLGI #2, Category LB or GC-LB.
Hydraulic Brake System DOT 4 Hydraulic Brake Fluid.
Key Lock Cylinders, Hood and Door Hinges Multi-Purpose Lubricant, Superlube. See your dealer.
Manual Transmission DEXRON III Automatic Transmission Fluid.
Rear Axle/Front Axle (All-Wheel Drive) See your dealer. Transfer Case (All-Wheel Drive) See your dealer. Windshield Washer Automotive windshield washer fluid that meets regional freeze protection
requirements.

This legal identifier is in the front
corner of the instrument panel, on the
driver side of the vehicle. It can be
seen through the windshield from
outside. The Vehicle Identification
Number (VIN) also appears on the
Vehicle Certification label and
certificates of title and registration.
Engine Identification
The eighth character in the VIN is the
engine code. This code identifies the
vehicle's engine, specifications, and
replacement parts. See “Engine
Specifications” underCapacities and
Specifications 0426 for the vehicle's
engine code.

A serialized plate can be found at the
lower portion of the steering wheel.
The plate will correspond to the last
six digits in the VIN.
