2. Press and hold the COMP button for ve seconds
until a zone number appears in the display.
3. Press the COMP button on the bottom of the mirror
until the new zone number appears in the display.
After you stop pressing the button, the display
will show a compass direction within a few seconds.
Cleaning the Mirror
Use a paper towel or similar material dampened with
glass cleaner. Do not spray glass cleaner directly on the
mirror as that may cause the liquid cleaner to enter
the mirror housing.
Passenger Air Bag Indicator
Your mirror may be equipped with a passenger air bag
indicator on the mirror glass, just above the buttons.
If you have this feature the mirror will display the word
ON, or an airbag symbol in Canada, when the
passenger air bag is enabled. For more information see
Passenger Sensing System on page 1-62.

let it idle to allow the transmission to cool. This message
will clear and the chime will stop when the uid
temperature reaches a safe level.
BUCKLE SEATBELT
This message reminds you to buckle the driver’s and/or
passenger’s seatbelt.
The message will come on when the ignition is in RUN
and the following conditions occur:
The driver’s seatbelt is unbuckled.
The driver’s seatbelt is unbuckled and the
passenger’s seatbelt is unbuckled with the
passenger airbag enabled.

Passenger Sensing System on page 1-62.
Pressing the select button will acknowledge this
message and clear it from the DIC display.
BUCKLE PASSENGER
This message reminds you to buckle the passenger’s
seatbelt.
This message will come on and a chime will sound
when the ignition is in RUN and the driver’s seatbelt is
buckled and the passenger’s seatbelt is unbuckled
with the passenger airbag enabled.

Pressing the select button will acknowledge this
message and clear it from the DIC display.
DRIVER DOOR AJAR
If the driver’s door is not fully closed and the vehicle is
in a drive gear, this message will appear on the
display and you will hear a chime. Stop and turn off the
vehicle, check the door for obstacles, and close the
door again. Check to see if the message still appears on
the DIC. Pressing the select button will acknowledge
this message and clear it from the DIC display.
