T(Vehicle Information):Press this button to
display the oil life, units, tire pressure readings for
vehicles with a Tire Pressure Monitor (TPM)
system, engine hours, Tire Pressure Monitor (TPM)
system programming for vehicles with a TPM
system, and Remote Keyless Entry (RKE)
transmitter programming.
U(Customization):Press this button to
customize the feature settings on your vehicle. See
DIC Vehicle Customization (With DIC Buttons) on
page 280for more information.
V(Set/Reset):Press this button to set or reset
certain functions and to turn off or acknowledge
messages on the DIC.
Trip/Fuel Menu Items

(Trip/Fuel):Press this button to scroll
through the following menu items:
Odometer
Press the trip/fuel button until ODOMETER
displays. This display shows the distance the
vehicle has been driven in either miles (mi)
or kilometers (km). Pressing the trip odometer
reset stem will also display the odometer.To switch between English and metric
measurements, see “Units” later in this section.
Trip Odometer
Press the trip/fuel button until TRIP displays. This
display shows the current distance traveled in
either miles (mi) or kilometers (km) since the last
reset for the trip odometer. Pressing the trip
odometer reset stem will also display the trip
odometer.
The trip odometer can be reset to zero by pressing
the set/reset button while the trip odometer is
displayed. You can also reset the trip odometer
while it is displayed by pressing and holding
the trip odometer reset stem.
The trip odometer has a feature called the
retro-active reset. This can be used to set the trip
odometer to the number of miles (kilometers)
driven since the ignition was last turned on. This
can be used if the trip odometer is not reset at the
beginning of the trip.

Press the customization button until REMOTE
DOOR UNLOCK appears on the DIC display.
Press the set/reset button once to access
the settings for this feature. Then press the
customization button to scroll through the following
settings:
LIGHTS OFF:The exterior lamps will not ash
when you press the unlock button on the
RKE transmitter.
LIGHTS ON (default):The exterior lamps will
ash when you press the unlock button on
the RKE transmitter.
NO CHANGE:No change will be made to this
feature. The current setting will remain.
Choose one of the available settings and press
the set/reset button while it is displayed on the DIC
to select it.DELAY DOOR LOCK
This feature allows you to select whether or not the
locking of the vehicle’s doors and liftgate will be
delayed. When locking the doors and liftgate with
the power door lock switch or the Remote Keyless
Entry (RKE) transmitter and a door or the liftgate is
open, this feature will delay locking the doors and
liftgate until ve seconds after the last door is
closed. You will hear three chimes to signal that the
delayed locking feature is in use. The key must be
out of the ignition for this feature to work. You can
temporarily override delayed locking by pressing
the power door lock switch or the RKE transmitter a
second time. SeeDelayed Locking on page 123for
more information.
Press the customization button until DELAY DOOR
LOCK appears on the DIC display. Press the
set/reset button once to access the settings for this
feature. Then press the customization button to
scroll through the following settings:
OFF:There will be no delayed locking of the
vehicle’s doors.
ON (default):The doors will not lock until
ve seconds after the last door or the liftgate is
closed.

u(Next Track/Chapter):Press this button to go
to the beginning of the next chapter or track.
This button might not work when the DVD
is playing the copyright information or the
previews.
r(Fast Reverse):Press this button to quickly
reverse the DVD or CD. To stop fast reversing
a DVD video, press the play button. To stop fast
reversing a DVD audio or CD, release the fast
reverse button. This button might not work when
the DVD is playing the copyright information or the
previews.
[(Fast Forward):Press this button to fast
forward the DVD or CD. To stop fast forwarding a
DVD video, press the play button. To stop fast
forwarding a DVD audio or CD, release the
fast forward button. This button may not work
when the DVD is playing the copyright information
or the previews.
e(Audio):Press this button to change audio
tracks on DVDs that have this feature when
the DVD is playing. The format and content of this
function varies for each disc.
{(Subtitles):Press this button to turn ON/OFF
subtitles and to move through subtitle options
when a DVD is playing. The format and content of
this function varies for each disc.
AUX (Auxiliary):Press this button to switch the
system between the DVD player and an auxiliary
source.
d(Camera):Press this button to change camera
angles on DVDs that have this feature when a
DVD is playing. The format and content of
this function varies for each disc.
1 through 0 (Numeric Keypad):The numeric
keypad provides the capability of direct chapter or
track number selection.
\(Clear):Press this button within three seconds
after entering a numeric selection, to clear all
numerical inputs.
}10 (Double Digit Entries):Press this button to
select chapter or track numbers greater than
nine. Press this button before entering the number.

5. Start with the driver’s side front tire.
6. Remove the valve cap from the valve cap
stem. Activate the TPMS sensor by
increasing or decreasing the tire’s air pressure
for ve seconds, or until a horn chirp
sounds. The horn chirp, which make take up
to 30 seconds to sound, conrms that the
sensor identication code has been matched
to this tire and wheel position. To decrease
air-pressure out of a tire you can use the
pointed end of the valve cap, a pencil-style air
pressure gage, or a key.
7. Proceed to the passenger’s side front tire, and
repeat the procedure in Step 6.
8. Proceed to the passenger’s side rear tire, and
repeat the procedure in Step 6.9. Proceed to the driver’s side rear tire, and
repeat the procedure in Step 6.
10. After hearing the conrming horn chirp for the
driver’s side rear tire, the horn chirp will sound
two more times to signal the tire learning
mode is no longer active. Turn the ignition
switch to LOCK.
11. Set all four tires to the recommended air
pressure level as indicated on the Tire
and Loading Information label.
12. Put the valve caps back on the valve stems
The spare tire does not have a TPMS sensor.
If you replace one of the road tires with the spare,
the SERVICE TIRE MONITOR message will be
displayed on the DIC screen. This message should
go off once you re-install the road tire containing
the TPMS sensor.
