According to the information given in
the servicing booklet.
Note: a v o i d u s e d o i l c o m i n g i n t o
prolonged contact with the skin.

I n a l l c a s e s , t h e o i l s e l e c t e d m u s t m e e t
t h e m a n u f a c t u r e r ' s r e q u i r e m e n t s .
Note: the coolant does not need to
be changed.
For vehicles equipped with a parti-
c l e fi l t e r , t h e e n g i n e f a n m a y o p e r a t e
a f t e r t h e i g n i t i o n h a s b e e n s w i t c h e d
o f f , e v e n w h e n t h e e n g i n e i s c o l d .
There are two marks
o n t h e d i p s t i c k :
A = m a x i m u m
N e v e r fi l l p a s t t h i s
mark.
B = m i n i m u m
To maintain the reliability
of engines and emission
c o n t r o l s y s t e m s , t h e u s e
of additives in engine oil
is prohibited.

C o o l i n g s y s t e m
U s e t h e fl u i d r e c o m m e n d e d b y t h e
m a n u f a c t u r e r .
W h e n t h e e n g i n e i s w a r m , t h e t e m -
p e r a t u r e o f t h e c o o l a n t i s c o n t r o l l e d
by the engine fan. As this fan can
operate with the ignition key removed
a n d b e c a u s e t h e c o o l i n g s y s t e m i s
p r e s s u r i s e d , w a i t f o r a t l e a s t o n e h o u r
after the engine has stopped before
c a r r y i n g o u t a n y w o r k .
S l a c k e n t h e c a p b y t w o t u r n s t o
r e l e a s e t h e p r e s s u r e t o p r e v e n t a n y
r i s k o f s c a l d i n g . W h e n t h e p r e s s u r e
h a s d r o p p e d , r e m o v e t h e c a p a n d
t o p u p t h e l e v e l . Used oil

O p e n t h e r e s e r v o i r , w i t h t h e e n -
g i n e a t a m b i e n t t e m p e r a t u r e . T h e
l e v e l s h o u l d a l w a y s b e a b o v e t h e
MIN. mark and close to the MAX.
