T h i s r e a r r o o f fl a p i s o n l y c o m p a t i b l e
with the hinged doors.
T o o p e n t h e r e a r r o o f fl a p :
- raise the black paddle of the toggle,
- relieve the toggle by pressing the r e a r r o o f fl a p ( d o w n w a r d s ) t h e n
release the hook,
- l i f t t h e r e a r r o o f fl a p ,
- pass the point of resistance to s e c u r e t h e r e a r r o o f fl a p u s i n g t h e
support struts.
T o c l o s e t h e r e a r r o o f fl a p :
- check that the support bar is secured correctly,
- l o w e r t h e r e a r r o o f fl a p ,
- w h i l e p r e s s i n g t h e r e a r r o o f fl a p (downwards), take hold of the two
loops of the spring then place the
hook in its housing, Support bar
A support bar is provided for
transporting long loads, after opening
t h e r e a r r o o f fl a p .
Fold back the support bar by lifting the
lever.
Support it to the door pillar.
Support the long loads to be
transported, lift them and reposition the
support bar with one hand.
Ensure that it is secured correctly by
pressing the handle downwards past
the point of resistance and secure the
l o a d s fi r m l y . The rear bumper has been
strengthened to serve as a
footrest on entering the vehicle.
Never drive without the support bar in
place.
The rear doors only lock when the
support bar is installed.
W h e n t h e r e a r r o o f fl a p i s o p e n , t a k e
care when driving where height is
restricted.
Never rest loads directly on the rear
doors.
Comply with the usual indications, to
attract the attention of other drivers.
The side supports can be used as
hooking points.

Seat belts
SEAT BELTS
Height adjustment
Squeeze the control with the return and
slide the assembly on the driver's seat
side and on the individual passenger
seat side.
Fastening
Pull the strap, then insert the tongue
into the buckle.
Check that the seat belt is fastened
correctly by pulling the strap. Driver's seat belt not fastened
warning light
Unfastening
Press the red button.
When the vehicle is started,
this warning light comes on if
the driver has not fastened his
seat belt. Good practice
The driver must ensure that
passengers use the seat belts correctly
and that they are all strapped in
securely before moving off.
Wherever you are seated in the
vehicle, always fasten your seat belt,
even for short journeys.
T h e s e a t b e l t s a r e fi t t e d w i t h a n i n e r t i a
reel which automatically adjusts the
length of the strap to your size.
D o n o t u s e a c c e s s o r i e s ( c l o t h e s p e g s ,
clips, safety pins, etc.) which permit a
clearance with the seat belt straps.
Ensure that the seat belt is rolled up
correctly after use.
After folding or moving a seat or a rear
bench seat, ensure that the seat belt is
rolled up correctly and that the buckle
is ready to accommodate the tongue.
Depending on the nature and
seriousness of any impact, the
pretensioning device may be triggered
b e f o r e a n d i n d e p e n d e n t l y o f i n fl a t i o n
of the airbags. It instantly tightens
the seat belts against the body of the
occupants.
Triggering of the pretensioners is
accompanied by a slight discharge
of harmless smoke and a noise, due
to the activation of the pyrotechnic
cartridge incorporated in the system.

The child seats function and
the passenger airbag disarming
function are common to the entire

If the passenger airbag is not
disarmed, the installation of a
"rearwards-facing" child seat in the

Child safety
"ISOFIX" MOUNTINGS
Your vehicle has been approved in
accordance with the new ISOFIX
regulation.
The mountings comprise three rings for
e a c h s e a t : - two front rings
A and B , located
between the vehicle seat back and
cushion, - a rear ring
C , located on the back
of the vehicle's seat back, for
securing the upper strap referred to
as the TOP TETHER.
This ISOFIX mounting system
guarantees you fast, reliable and safe
fi t t i n g o f t h e c h i l d s e a t i n y o u r v e h i c l e
on the side seats.
T h e I S O F I X c h i l d s e a t s a r e fi t t e d w i t h
two locks which are secured easily on
the two front rings.
Some also have an upper strap which
is attached to the rear ring C .
To attach this strap, raise the
vehicle seat's head restraint then
pass the hook between its rods.
T h e n fi x t h e h o o k o n t h e r e a r r i n g a n d
tighten the upper strap.
