warning/indicator lights. These inform
the driver of the activation of a system
(operation or deactivation indicator
lights) or of the occurrence of a fault
(warning lights).

When the vehicle is
s t a t i o n a r y , it allows the
user to change the fol-
lowing parameters:
- the choice of the reini- tialisation of the aver-
age consumption and
average speed,
- the fuel consumption unit,
- the temperature display unit,
- the display language,
- activation/deactivation of the INFO
button sound,
- the break (rest) reminder display in- terval,
- restore the manufacturer's param- eters.
FUNCTION PARAMETERS
System which provides access to cer-
tain function parameters.
In order to change the settings, it
is essential that you stop the ve-
hicle and switch on the ignition.
Apply the handbrake and place the
gear lever in neutral.
When the vehicle is moving , the
functions setting display is not dis-
played when you press the INFO
button.
The various menus may change be-
tween the type 1 instrument panel and
the type 2 instrument panel.
With the ignition on , press the INFO
button on the fascia, to the left of the
instrument panel, several times in suc-
cession until the "SETTING MENU"
screen is displayed.
O p e r a t i o n
press and hold the INFO button for
a few seconds to display the menus
screen.
Press and hold the INFO button for
a few seconds to return to the previ-
ous screen.
When the menus screen is dis-
played, if no operation is carried out
within 15 seconds, the function pa-
rameters screen is displayed.
on the menus screen, press the
INFO button to select a function
from the list:

- a/b (choice of displaying a different
language on the instrument panel
display and the navigation display),
- a c t i v a t i o n / d e a c t i v a t i o n o f t h e
INFO button sound ,
- ALERT (changing of the "BREAK
REMINDER" display interval),

tion indicators,

MENU 1/3 :
- 1 - 2 (choice of the reinitialisation of
the average consumption and aver-
age speed),
- UNIT (choice of the fuel consump-
tion units),
- choice of the t e m p e r a t u r e d i s p l a y
unit ,
- LANGUAGE (choice of the display
language),
M E N U 3 / 3 :
- REINITIALISE (restore the manu-
facturer's parameters).

You can activate or deactivate the cur-
rent fuel consumption, with the type 2
instrument panel only.
On the menus screen:
press the INFO button to select the
current fuel consumption activation/
deactivation symbol (located on
menu 2/3) .
press and hold the INFO button for
a few seconds to scroll through the
choices in succession (ON, OFF).

You can restore all of the manufactur-
er's settings for all of the functions.
On the menus screen:
press the INFO button to select
"REINITIALISE" (located on
m e n u 2 / 2 o r 3 / 3 d e p e n d i n g o n t h e
i n s t r u m e n t p a n e l ) . The manufacturer's settings are:
press and hold the INFO button for
at least 5 seconds .
An audible signal is heard and all of the
manufacturer's settings are restored for
all of the functions.

FUEL TANK Opening the cap may trigger an air in-
take noise. This vacuum, which is com-
pletely normal, is caused by the sealing
of the fuel circuit.

switched off,
pull the control A located at the bot-
tom left of the driver's seat to release
t h e f u e l fi l l e r fl a p ,

turn the cap C to the left,

correctly.
remove the cap C ,
fi l l t h e t a n k , b u t do not continue
after the 3rd cut-off of the nozzle ;
this could cause malfunctions.
Low fuel level
Filling
A l a b e l , a f fi x e d o n t h e i n s i d e o f t h e fl a p ,
reminds you of the type of fuel to be
used in relation to your engine.
More than 5 litres of fuel must be added in
order to be registered by the fuel gauge. When the tank minimum level
is reached, this indication ap-
pears on the instrument pan-
e l d i s p l a y . W h e n i t fi r s t c o m e s
on, you have approximately
10 litres of fuel remaining.
The symbol
fl a s h e s s l o w l y (approximately
once per second).
When the symbol begins to
fl a s h r a p i d l y (approximately
twice per second), there is not
much fuel remaining in your tank (ap-
proximately 5 litres).
I t i s e s s e n t i a l t o fi l l t h e t a n k t o a v o i d
running out of fuel.
This symbol indicates that the
fuel tank cap is located on the
left-hand side of the vehicle.

Quality of the fuel used for Diesel engines
The Diesel engines are perfectly com-
patible with biofuels which conform to
current and future European standards
(Diesel fuel which complies with stand-
ard EN 590 mixed with a biofuel which
complies with standard EN 14214)
available at the pumps (containing up
to 7 % Fatty Acid Methyl Ester).
The B30 biofuel can be used in cer-
tain Diesel engines; however, this use
is subject to strict application of the
special servicing conditions. Consult a
CITROËN dealer.
The use of any other type of (bio)fuel
(vegetable or animal oils, pure or dilut-
ed, domestic fuel...) is strictly prohibited
(risk of damage to the engine and fuel
system).
petrol engines
The petrol engines are perfectly com-
patible with E10 type petrol biofuels
(containing 10 % ethanol), conforming
to European standards EN 228 and
EN 15376.
E85 type fuels (containing up to 85 %
ethanol) are reserved exclusively for ve-
hicles marketed for the use of this type
of fuel (BioFlex vehicles). The quality of
the ethanol must comply with European
standard EN 15376.
For Brazil only, special vehicles are
marketed to run on fuels containing up
to 100 % ethanol (type E100).
