Safety
Lateral airbags
Deployment
The lateral airbags are deployed unilaterally in the event
of a serious side impact applied to all or par t of the side
impact zone B , perpendicular to the longitudinal centreline
of the vehicle on a horizontal plane and directed from the outside towards the inside of the vehicle.
The lateral airbag contributes towards the protection of thefront occupant of the vehicle, between the lower thoraxand the head.
System which protects the driver and frontpassenger in the event of a serious side impact
in order to limit the risk of injury to the chest,
between the hip and the shoulder.

audible signal and a message in the
screen, contact a CITROËN dealer
or a qualified workshop to have the

ystem checked. The airbags may nolonger be deployed in the event of a
serious impact.


Operating fault


In the event of a minor impact or bump on the side of the vehicle or if the vehicle rolls over, the airbag may not be deployed.
In the event of a rear or front collision, the airbag is not deployed.

Changing a bulb


Front lamps

In some weather conditions (e.g. low temperature or humidity), the presence of misting on the internal sur face of the glass of the headlamps and rear lampsis normal; it disappears after the lamps have been on for a few minutes.

The headlamps are fitted with polycarbonate glass with a protectivecoating:)do not clean them using a dry or abrasive cloth, nor with a detergent or solvent product,)
use a sponge and soapy water or apH neutral product,)
when using a high pressure washer on persistent marks, do not keep the lance directed towards thelamps or their edges for too long, so as not to damage their protectivecoating and seals,)
do not touch the bulb directly withyour fingers, use lint-free cloths.
Changing a bulb should only be doneafter the headlamp has been switched off for a few minutes (risk of serious burns). It is imperative to use only anti-ultraviolet (UV) type bulbs in order notto damage the headlamp. Always replace a failed bulb with a new bulb with the same type andspecification.1

Changing front foglamp bulbs
)Access to the front foglamp is through the aper ture below the bumper.
If necessary, unscrew and completely remove the cover.)Turn the bulb holder a quar ter turn anti-clockwise and pull it out. )Disconnect the bulb connector. )Remove the bulb and change it.
To r e f i t , c a r ry out these operations in reverse order.
If you experience any difficulty in replacing bulbs, contact your CITROËNdealer or a qualified workshop.
Changing direction indicator side
repeaters
)Insert a screwdriver towards the centre of
the repeater between the repeater and the
base on the body.
)Tilt the screwdriver to extract the repeater and remove it.)Disconnect the repeater connector.)Replace the module.
To r e f i t , c a r ry out these operations in reverse order.
Contact a CITROËN dealer or a qualified workshop to obtain areplacement side repeater module.

Put the gear lever into neutral (position N
for an electronic or automatic gearbox). Failure to follow this instruction maycause damage to some components(braking, transmission...) and the absence of braking assistance when the engine is restar ted.

Unlock the steering by turning the key
in the ignition one notch and release the
