A.With the ignition on, the bars representingthe fuel level should come on. B.With the engine running, the associated

Operation indicator lamps
If one of the following indicator lamps comes on, this confirms that the corresponding system has come into operation.

Left-hand direction indicator
flashing with buzzer. The lighting stalk is pushed down.
Right-hand
direction indicator
flashing with buzzer. The lighting stalk is pushed up.
Dipped beamheadlampsfixed.The lighting stalk is in the "Dipped
beam headlamps" position.
Main beam headlampsfixed.The lighting stalk is pulled towards
you. Pull the stalk to return to dipped beam headlamps.
Frontfoglampsfixed.The front foglamps are switched on. Turn the ring on the stalk rear wards twice to switch off
the front foglamps.


Rearfoglampfixed.The rear foglamp is switched on. Turn the ring on the stalk rear wards to switch off the
rear foglamp.

Deactivation indicator lamps
If one of the following indicator lamps comes on, this confirms that the corresponding system has been switched off intentionally.This is may be accompanied by an audible signal and a message in the screen.

The passenger's front airbag is deactivated. In this case you can install a "rear facing" child seat.Set the control to the O

position to activate thepassenger's front airbag.
In this case, do not fit a child seat in the rear-facing position.
ESP/ASRfixed. The button, located at the bottom
left of the dashboard, is pressed. Its
indicator lamp is on.
The E
SP/ASR is deactivated.
ESP: electronic stability programme.
ASR: anti-slip regulation.Press the button to activate the E
SP/ASR. Its indicator
lamp goes off.
The ESP/ASR system is activated automatically when
the vehicle is started.
If deactivated, the system is reactivated automaticallyfrom around 30 mph (50 km/h).

Anti-lockBraking System(ABS)
fixed. The anti-lock braking system has a fault. The vehicle retains conventional braking.
Drive carefully at reduced speed and contact aCITROËN dealer or a qualified workshop without
delay.
Engine fault
fixed, orange. The engine has a minor fault. Contact a CITROËN dealer or a qualified workshop as soon as possible.

fixed, red. The engine has a major fault causinga breakdown. You must stop as soon as it is safe to do so.

Electric controls
Manual controls
The electric window switches remain operational for about 45 seconds after switching off the ignition or until a front door is opened. During this period of 45 seconds, if you open a door whileoperating a window, the window stops.
Operating the switch again has noeffect until the ignition is switched on again.


Always remove the key from the ignition when leaving the vehicle, even for a short time.
In the event of contact during operationof the windows, you must reverse themovement of the window. To do this,press the switch concerned.
When operating the passenger electricwindow switches, the driver must ensure that no one is preventing correct closing of the windows.
The driver must ensure that the passengers use the electric windows correctly.
Be aware of children when operatingthe windows.

to prevent operation of all of the windows,
irrespective of their position.
With the warning lamp on, the switches are
deactivated. With the warning lamp off, theswitches are active.

Rear seats

if necessary. )Check that the corresponding seat belt ispositioned correctly against the backrest and buckle it.

Unbuckle and reposition the seat belt on
the side of the backrest.
When repositioning the seat backrest,take care not to trap the seat belts. Ensure that the backrest has latchedproperly into place.

Depending on version, your vehicle may be fitted with a fixed rear bench seat. For removing and refitting it, contact a CITROËN dealer or a qualified
workshop.

Mirrors
Each fitted with an adjustable mirror glassproviding the lateral rearward vision necessary
for overtaking or parking. They can also befolded for parking in confined spaces.
Door mirrors

The objects observed are, in reality,closer than they appear.

These systems only operate with the engine running.


1. Air intake / Air recirculation

The recirculation of interior air isolates the passenger compartment from exterior odours and smoke.


2. Temperature level adjustment
)Press the "
" (red for hot)and"" (blue for cold) buttons, to
adjust the temperature to your
requirements. The temperature bars come on
or go off progressively in the air conditioning screen.
Return to exterior air intake as soon as possible
to prevent deterioration of the the air qualit
y and the formation of mist. )Press the button to recirculate the interior air. The indicator lamp comes on to confirm
this.
) Press the button again to permit
the intake of exterior air. Theindicator lamp goes off to confirm
