Setting the date and time

Instrument panel
Use the left-hand button on the instrument panel to carry out the operations in the following order:)press the button for more than
two seconds: the minutes flash, )press the button to increase the minutes, )press the button for more than two
seconds: the hours flash, )press the button to increase the hours,)press the button for more than
two seconds: 24H or 12H is displayed, )press the button to select 24H or 12H, )press the button for more than two seconds
to complete the adjustments.
After approximately 30 seconds without anyaction, the screen returns to the normal display.
Audio system / Bluetooth
Use the audio system buttons to carry out the
operations in the following order:
) press the "MENU"
button,
)
using the arrows, select the "Personalisation - Configuration"menu
then confirm by pressing the control knob,
) using the arrows, select the "Screenconfiguration"menu then confirm,
)
using the arrows, select the "Set date and
time" menu then confirm,
)
select the setting then confirm,)
modify the setting then confirm again to
register the modification,
) adjust the settings one by one, confirmingeach time, )
select the "OK"
tab in the screen thenconfirm to exit the "Set date and time"menu.

Monochrome screen C (Audio system / Bluetooth)
This displays the following information:
- time,- date,
- ambient temperature (this flashes if there isa risk of ice),
- status of doors and boot,
- parking sensors,
- audio sources
(radio, CD, USB por t, jack
socket...),
- trip computer (refer to the "Instruments andcontrols" section).
Warning or information messages may appear
temporarily. These can be cleared by pressingthe return button. From
your Audio system / Bluetooth control
panel, you can press: ) the "MENU"
button to gain access to the main menu , )

button to select the displayof information in "Full screen" or "New
window" mode,

Access
Lost keys
Visit a CITROËN dealer with the vehicle's registration document, your personal identification documents and if possible the key code label.
The CITROËN dealer will be able to look up the key code and the transponder coderequired to order a new key.
Remote control
The high frequency remote control is a sensitive system; do not operate it while it is in your pocket as there is a possibility that it may unlock the vehicle, without you being aware of it. Do not repeatedly press the buttons of your remote control out of range and out of sight of your vehicle. You run the risk of stopping it from working and the remote control would haveto be reinitialised. No remote control can operate when the key is in the ignition switch, even when the ignitionis switched off, except for reinitialisation.
Locking the vehicle
Driving with the doors locked may make access to the passenger compar tment by the emergency ser vices more difficult in an emergency.However, the vehicle unlocks automatically in the event of a serious impact causing airbagdeployment.
As a safety precaution, never leave children alone in the vehicle, except for a very shor t period.In all cases, it is essential to remove the key from the ignition switch when leaving the vehicle.
Anti-theft protection
Do not make any modifications to the electronic engine immobiliser system; this could causemalfunctions.
When purchasing a second-hand vehicle
Have the pairing of all of the keys in your possession checked by a CITROËN dealer,to ensure that only your keys can be used to open and star t the vehicle.
Do not throw the remote control batteries away, they contain metalswhich are harmful to the environment.
Take them to an approved collectionpoint.

Comfort
Electronic air conditioning (with screen)
These systems only operate with the engine running.


1. Air intake / Air recirculation

The recirculation of interior air isolates the passenger compartment from exterior odours and smoke.


2. Temperature level adjustment
)Press the "
" (red for hot)and"" (blue for cold) buttons, to
adjust the temperature to your
requirements. The temperature bars come on
or go off progressively in the air conditioning screen.
Return to exterior air intake as soon as possible
to prevent deterioration of the the air qualit
y and the formation of mist. )Press the button to recirculate the interior air. The indicator lamp comes on to confirm
this.
) Press the button again to permit
the intake of exterior air. Theindicator lamp goes off to confirm

s.

) Turn thumb wheel 1to the "LIMIT"position: the speed limiter mode
is selected but is not switched on(PAUSE).
You do not have to switch the speed limiter
on in order to set the speed.
Programming

the speed limiter mode is deselected. The
displa
y returns to the distance recorder.
On a steep descent or in the event of sharp acceleration, the speed limiter willnot be able to prevent the vehicle from exceeding the programmed speed.

- ensure that the mat is positioned correctly,

- do not fit one mat on top of another.

In the event of a speed limiter fault, the speed
is cleared resultin
g in flashing of the dashes.
Have it checked by a CITROËN dealer or a qualified workshop.


Operating fault
)Set the speed value by pressing button 2or 3(e.g.: 55 mph (90 km/h)).
You can then change the programmed speed using buttons 2 and 3
:
- by + or - 1 mph (km/h) = shor t press,
- by + or - 5 mph (km/h) = long press,
- in steps of + or - 5 mph (km/h) = maintained press.
Exceeding the programmed speed
Pressing the accelerator pedal to exceed the programmed speed will not haveany effect unless you press the pedal firmlypast the ypoint of resistance.The speed limiter is deactivated temporarily and the programmedspeed, which is still displayed, flashes.Returning to the programmed speed, by means of intentional or unintentional
deceleration of the vehicle, automatically cancels the flashing of the
programmed speed.
)Switch the speed limiter back on by pressing button 4 again.

)Switch the speed limiter on by pressing button 4 . )Switch the speed limiter off by pressing button 4: the display confirms that it has been switched off (PAUS E).

Programming
You can then change the programmed speed using buttons 2 and 3:- by + or - 1 mph (km/h) = shor t press,
- by + or - 5 mph (km/h) = long press,
- in steps of + or - 5 mph (km/h) = maintained press.

When the cruise control is switched on, be careful if you maintain the pressure on one of the programmed speed changing buttons: this may result in a very rapid change in the speed of your vehicle.
Do not use the cruise control on slippery roads or in heavy traffic. On a steep descent, the cruise control will not be able to prevent the vehiclefrom exceeding the programmed speed.

- ensure that the mat is positioned correctly,

- never fit one mat on top of another.

In the event o
f a cruise control malfunction,
the speed is cleared resulting in flashing of the
dashes. Have it checked by a CITROËN dealer

Exceeding the programmed speed
Intentional or unintentional exceeding of the programmed speed results
in flashing of this speed in the screen.
Return to the programmed speed, by means of intentional or unintentional
deceleration of the vehicle, automatically cancels the flashing of the speed.
)Set the programmed speed byaccelerating to the required speed,
then press button 2 or 3
(e.g.: 70 mph(11 0 k m / h)).
)Switch off the cruise control by pressing button 4
: the screenconfirms that it has been switched off (PAUSE).
)Switch the cruise control back on by pressing button 4again.

Without pressing the EJECT
button, insert a CD in the player, playbegins automatically.

PLAYING A COMPILATION

Insert an MP3 compilation in the
CD player or connect a memory stick to the USB port,
directly or via an extension lead.
The s
ystem creates playlists (temporary memory) the creation time
for which can take from a few seconds to several minutes.
The pla
ylists are updated every time the ignition is switched off or aUSB memory stick is connected.
Pla
y starts automatically after a period which depends on the capacity of the USB memory stick.

At a fi rst connection, the order suggested is by folder.When connecting again, the order previously chosen is retained.

To play a disc or memory stick whichhas already been inserted, press SRC/TEL
several times in succession andselect " CD" or " USB".
