Changing a wheel


To o l s r equired



- A jack: for lifting the vehicle.

- A wheelbrace: for removin
g and refitting
the wheel bolts.

- A handle: for operating the jack.
These tools are not supplied with your vehicle.
Parking the vehicle

Immobilise the vehicle where it does notblock traffic: the ground must be level,stable and not slippery. Apply the parking brake, switch off the ignition and put the drive selector in
position Pto lock the wheels.
If necessary, place a chock under thewheel diagonally opposite the wheel to be changed.
You must ensure that the occupants get out of the vehicle and wait where they are safe. Never go underneath a vehicle raised using a jack; use an axle stand.

Wheel with wheel trim
When removing the wheel , firstremove the wheel trim using the wheelbrace, by pulling at the valve hole.When fitting the wheel, refit the wheeltrim star ting by aligning the valve hole
with the valve, and then press on theedge of the trim with the palm of your hand.

) Slacken the bolts using the wheelbrace. )
Place the jack in contact with one of the
two front Aor rear B locations provided on
the underbody, whichever is closest to the
wheel to be changed.

Removing the wheel
)
Using the handle, extend the jack until its base plate is in contact with the ground.
Ensure that the centreline of the jack base
plate is directly below the location A or Bused.)
Raise the vehicle until there is sufficientspace between the wheel and the ground.

Remove the bolts and store them in a clean place. )
Remove the wheel.

Fitting the wheel
)Put the wheel in place on the hub. )Screw in the bolts by hand.)Pre-tighten the bolts using the wheelbrace.

Lower the vehicle fully. )
Fold the jack and detach it.)Tighten the bolts using the wheelbrace.



After changing a wheel

Have the tightening of the bolts andthe pressure of the new wheel checked by a CITROËN dealer or a qualifiedworkshop without delay.

Precautions for
washing
To avoid damaging the electrical components, the use of a high pressure jet wash is strictly prohibited:


- in the front compar tment (under thebonnet),

- under the body.

For washing the body, do not use a pressure greater than 80 bars.
Check - before washing the vehicle -that the charging flaps and the charging socket covers (normal and fast charge) are properly closed.


Do not wash the vehicle while the
battery is being recharged.
