Towing the vehicle

Install the towing bar. )
Put the gear lever into neutral (position Nfor the electronic gearbox).
)Take the removable towing eye stowed in
the spare wheel, under the boot carpet.
)Unclip the plastic cover, )Fully screw in the towing eye.

General
recommendations
Observe the legislation in force in your country.Ensure that the weight of the towing vehicle is higher than that of the towedvehicle.The driver must stay at the wheel of thetowed vehicle. Driving on motorways and fast roads is prohibited when towing.When towing a vehicle with all four wheels on the ground, always use an approved towing bar; rope and straps are prohibited. When towing a vehicle with the engine off, there is no longer any power assistance for braking or steering.In the following cases, you must always call on a professional recovery service:- vehicle broken down on a motor way
or fast road,- when it is not possible to put the gearbox into neutral, unlock thesteering, or release the parkingbrake,- towing with only two wheels on theground, - where there is no approved towingbar available...

Your vehicle can only be towed at the front.
Never use the radiator crossmember.
To w i ng with fours wheels on theroad must be carried out at very low speed over a very shor t distance (in accordance with the legislation in force).
In all other cases, your vehicle must betranspor ted on a trailer.

Failure to obser ve this instruction may lead to damage to cer tain components (braking, transmission, ...) and the absence of braking assistance when the engine is started.

Unlock the steering by turning the key to
the first position and release the parkingbrake. ) Switch on the hazard warning lamps onboth vehicles.

RADIO

Radio text is information transmitted by the radio station related to
the current programme or song.

With the radio displayed on the screen, press MENUthen select "Radio".


Select or deselect "TXT"
to activate or
deactivate the display of Radio Text.

RECEIVING TA MESSAGES


The TA (Traffi c Announcement) function gives priority to TA alert messages. To operate, this function needs good reception of a
radio station transmitting this type of message. When a traffi c
report is transmitted, the current audio source (Radio, CD,USB, ...) is interrupted automatically to play the TA message.
Normal playback of the audio source resumes at the end of the
transmission of the message.

Press MENU, select "Radio".

Select or deselect "TA "to activateor deactivate the reception of traffi cmessages.

STREAMING - PLAYING AUDIO FILES VIA BLUETOOTH
DEPENDING ON THE COMPATIBILITY OF THE PHONE
Connect the telephone: see the "USING THE
TELEPH
ONE" section.
Streaming allows music fi les on a telephone to be heard via the
vehicle's speakers.
The telephone must support the appropriate Bluetooth Æprofi les (profi les A2DP / AV RCP).

Activate the streaming source by pressing SRC/TEL
. Control of playbackis via the audio system. The contextualinformation can be displayed in the screen.
In certain cases, pla
ying of the audio fi les must be initiated from
the telephone.

The audio qualit
y depends on the quality of the transmission from
the telephone.

On FM, the multifunction display will indicate:

"TP"or "TP EON": the radio transmits a
programme while awaiting the broadcasting of
traffi c information.
-"TA"or "TA EON": the programme transmitted by the radio is put on standby while awaitingthe broadcasting of traffi c information.

The volume o
f the traffi c information is independent of the volume of normal radio listening.
You can adjust it using the volume button, when the
TA
programmeis being transmitted.
The settin
g will be stored and will be used during subsequent message transmissions.
This s
ystem links stations which belong to the same network. Itpermits the transmission of traffi c information broadcast by a station
which belongs to the same network as the station to which you arelistening.
In order to benefi t from this, select the traffi c information
programme TA.
