MONOCHROME SCREEN C
Displays on the screen
This displays the following information:
- time,
- date,
- a m b i e n t t e m p e r a t u r e ( t h i s fl a s h e s i f there is a risk of ice),
- status of doors and boot,
- audio sources (radio, CD, USB port, jack socket etc.),
- trip computer (refer to the "Instruments and controls" section).
Warning messages (E.g. "Emisions
control system faulty") or information
messages (E.g.: Automatic headlamps
active") may appear temporarily. These
can be cleared by pressing the "ESC"
button. Controls
From your Audio system control panel,
you can:
press the "MENU" button to gain
access to the general menu ,
press the " " or " " buttons to scroll
through the items on the screen,
press the "MODE" button to change
the permanent application (trip
computer, audio source...),
press the " " or " " buttons to
change a setting value,
press the "OK" b u t t o n t o c o n fi r m ,
or
press the "ESC" button to abandon
the operation in progress. General menu
Press the "MENU" button to gain
access to the general menu :
- audio functions,
- the trip computer,
- p e r s o n a l i s a t i o n - c o n fi g u r a t i o n ,
- telephone (hands-free kit).
Press the " " or " " buttons to se-
l e c t t h e m e n u r e q u i r e d , t h e n c o n fi r m
by pressing the "OK" button.
"Audio functions" menu
With the Audio system switched on,
once this menu has been selected you
can activate or deactivate the functions
linked with use of the radio (RDS, REG,
R a d i o T e x t ) , t h e C D ( i n t r o s c a n , s h u f fl e ,
CD repeat) or the MP3 player (USB
port/jack socket).
For further details on the "Audio func-
tions" application, refer to the Audio sys-
tem part of the "Audio and Telematics"
section.

"guide-me-home" lighting
Press the " " or " " buttons, then
the "OK" button to select the menu
required.

"Guide-me-home lighting" line.

set the value required (15, 30 or
60 seconds), then press the "OK"

Language selection
Once this menu has been selected,
you can change the language used
by the display (Deutsch, English,
Espanol, Français, Italiano, Nederlands,
Portugues, Portugues-Brasil, Türkçe
). "Telephone" Menu
F o r s a f e t y r e a s o n s , c o n fi g u r a t i o n
by the driver of the multifunction
screen must only be done when
stationary.
Display configuration
Once this menu has been selected, you
can gain access to the following settings:
- brightness-video setting,
- date and time setting,
- selection of units.
Once the fuel consumption units
have been changed to mpg, the
information in the screen relat-
ing to speed and distance also
changes to mph and miles re-
spectively. With Audio system on, once this menu
i s s e l e c t e d y o u c a n c o n fi g u r e y o u r
Bluetooth hands-free kit (pairing), view
the various telephone directories (list
of calls, services...) and manage your
calls (call, hang up, second call, secret
mode...).

16/9 COLOUR SCREEN (WITH MYWAY)
Displays on the screen
It displays the following information auto-
matically and directly:
- time,
- date,
- altitude,
- ambient temperature (the value dis- p l a y e d fl a s h e s i f t h e r e i s a r i s k o f
ice),
- check of the doors,
- warning and vehicle function status messages, displayed temporarily,
- audio functions,
- satellite navigation system information. Controls
MyWay To select one of the applica-
tions, at the control panel:
press the dedicated "RADIO" ,
"MUSIC" , "NAV" , "TRAFFIC" , "SETUP" or "PHONE" button for access to
the corresponding menu,
turn the dial to move the selection,
p r e s s t h e d i a l t o c o n fi r m t h e s e l e c -
tion,
or
press the "ESC" button to abandon
the current operation and return to
the previous display.
For further information on these ap-
plications, refer to the "Audio and

owner's documents. "SETUP" menu
Press the "SETUP" button to gain
access to the "SETUP" menu. This
allows you to select from the follow-
ing functions:
- "System language",
- "Date and time",
- "Display",
- "Vehicle",
- "Units",
- "System".

Version without Zenith windscreen
GLOVE BOX
To open the glove box, raise the
handle.
It houses the front passenger airbag de-
activation switch A .
It gives access to the dashboard fuse-
box (see the "Practical information - §
Changing a fuse" section).
CENTRE ARMREST
Comfort and storage system for the
driver and front passenger.
Storage
For access to the closed storage
box, lift the lever to open the lid.
For access to the open storage box
below the armrest, lift the complete
armrest towards the rear.
These can be used for portable devices
(mobile phone, MP3 player...) which
can be connected to the USB port/Jack
socket or charged from the 12 V socket
in the centre console.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION
If the telephone is being used
at the same time on the MyWay
audio navigation system, it will
be interrupted after 10 minutes. A fl a t b a t t e r y p r e v e n t s t h e e n g i n e
from starting (refer to the corre-
s p o n d i n g p a r a g r a p h ) .
ENERGY ECONOMY MODE
System which manages the period of
use of certain functions to conserve a
s u f fi c i e n t l e v e l o f c h a r g e i n t h e b a t t e r y .
After the engine has stopped, you can
still use functions such as the audio
equipment, windscreen wipers, dipped
headlamps, courtesy lamps, etc. for a maxi-
mum combined period ofthirty minutes.
Switching to economy mode
Once this period has elapsed, a message ap-
pears on the multifunction screen indicating
that the vehicle has switched to economy mode
and the active functions are put on standby.
Exiting economy mode
These functions are reactivated auto-
matically the next time the vehicle is
driven.
In order to resume the use of these
functions immediately, start the en-
gine and let it run for a few minutes.
The time available to you will then be dou-
ble the period for which the engine is left
running. However, this period will always
b e b e t w e e n fi v e a n d t h i r t y m i n u t e s .
CHANGING A WIPER BLADE
Procedure for replacing a worn wiper
blade with a new one without the use
of tools.
Before removing a front wiper
blade
Within one minute after switching off
the ignition, operate the wipers stalk
to position the wiper blades in the
centre of the windscreen.
Removing a front or rear wiper
blade
Raise the corresponding wiper arm.
Unclip the wiper blade and remove it.
Fitting a front or rear wiper blade
At the front, check the size of the
wiper blade as the shorter blade is
fi t t e d o n t h e r i g h t - h a n d s i d e o f t h e
vehicle.
Put the corresponding new wiper
blade in place and clip it.
Fold down the wiper arm carefully.
After fitting a front wiper blade
Switch on the ignition.
Operate the wipers stalk again to
park the wiper blades.
This period may be greatly re-
duced if the battery is not fully
charged.

Activate the telephone’s Bluetooth function. The last telephone connected is reconnected automatically.
E n t e r t h e a u t h e n t i c a t i o n c o d e o n t h e telephone. The code to be entered is displayed on the screen.
T o c h a n g e t h e t e l e p h o n e c o n n e c t e d , p r e s s t h e P H O N E b u t t o n , t h e n s e l e c t "Phone" Menu and press the dial to c o n fi r m .
Once the telephone has been connected, MyWay can s can synchronise the address book and the call list. This synchronis ation ation may take a few minutes.
Select "Connect phone". Select the t e l e p h o n e a n d p r e s s t o c o n fi r m .
