COMFORT
FRONT SEATS
Seat consisting of a seat cushion, a seat
back and a head restraint which can all
be adjusted to adapt your position for
ease of driving and comfort.
Manual adjustments
Forwards-backwards adjustment
Raise the control and slide the seat
forwards or backwards. Driver's or passenger's seat height
adjustment
Pull the control upwards to raise
or push it downwards to lower, as
many times as necessary, to obtain
the position required. Seat back angle adjustment
Push the control rearwards.

COMFORT
REAR SEATS
B e n c h s e a t w i t h fi x e d o n e - p i e c e c u s h -
ion and split backrest (left hand 2/3,
right hand 1/3) which can be folded in-
dividually to adapt the load space in the
boot.
Rear head restraints
These have a high position (comfort)
and a low position (rear visibility). Folding the backrest
Move the corresponding front seat
forward if necessary.
Check that the seat belt is positioned
correctly on the side of the seat back.
Place the head restraints in the low
position.
Repositioning the seat backrest
When repositioning the rear seat backrest:
Straighten the seat back 2 and se-
cure it.
Check that the red indicator, located
next to the control 1 , is no longer vi-
sisble.
They can also be removed.
To remove a head restraint:
release the backrest using control 1 ,
tilt the backrest 2 slightly forwards,
pull the head restraint upwards to
the stop,
then, press the lug A .
When repositioning the seat
backrest, take care not to trap
the seat belts.
Never drive with the head re-
straints removed; they must be
in place and correctly adjusted.
Pull control 1 forwards to release
the seat back 2 .
Fold the seat back 2 on to the cushion.

VISIBILITY To avoid causing a nuisance to other
road users, the height of the headlamps
should be adjusted in relation to the load
in the vehicle.

The initial setting is position "0" .
HEADLAMP ADJUSTMENT Coupling with the automatic
"Guide-me-home" lighting
Association with the automatic lighting
provides "guide-me-home" lighting with
the following additional options:
- selection of the lighting duration to
15, 30 or 60 seconds in the vehicle
parameters on the multifunction
s c r e e n c o n fi g u r a t i o n m e n u ( e x c e p t
in the case of the monochrome
screen A, for which the duration is
s e t : 6 0 s e c o n d s ) ,
- automatic activation of "guide-me- home" lighting when automatic lighting
is in operation.
Operating fault In fog or snow, the brightness
s e n s o r m a y d e t e c t s u f fi c i e n t
light. Therefore, the lighting will
not come on automatically.
Do not cover the brightness sen-
sor, coupled with the rain sensor
and located in the centre of the
windscreen behind the interior
mirror; the associated functions
would no longer be controlled.
In the event of a fault with
the brightness sensor,
the lighting come on, this
warning lamp is displayed
on the instrument panel and/or a mes-
sage appears on the multifunction screen,
accompanied by an audible signal.

seats of your vehicle:
- "rearwards-facing" up to the
age of 2,
- "forwards-facing" over the
age of 2. * The rules for transporting children are

current legislation in your country.
GENERAL POINTS RELATING
TO CHILD SEATS
A l t h o u g h o n e o f C I T R O Ë N ' s m a i n c r i -
teria when designing your vehicle, the
safety of your children also depends on
you.
F o r m a x i m u m s a f e t y , p l e a s e f o l l o w
these precautions:
- in accordance with European regula- tions, all children under the age of
12 or less than one and a half me-
tres tall must travel in approved
child seats suited to their weight ,
o n s e a t s fi t t e d w i t h a s e a t b e l t o r

- statistically, the safest seats in
your vehicle for the transportation
of children are the rear seats,
- a child weighing less than 9 kg
must travel in the "rearwards-
facing" position both in the front

ADVICE ON CHILD SEATS
The incorrect installation of a child
s e a t i n a v e h i c l e c o m p r o m i s e s t h e
c h i l d ' s p r o t e c t i o n i n t h e e v e n t o f a n
accident.
R e m e m b e r t o f a s t e n t h e s e a t b e l t s o r
t h e c h i l d s e a t h a r n e s s e s k e e p i n g t h e
s l a c k r e l a t i v e t o t h e c h i l d ' s b o d y t o a
m i n i m u m , e v e n f o r s h o r t j o u r n e y s .
When installing a child seat using the
s e a t b e l t , e n s u r e t h a t t h e s e a t b e l t i s
tightened correctly on the child seat
a n d t h a t i t s e c u r e s t h e c h i l d s e a t fi r m l y
on the seat of your vehicle.
F o r o p t i m u m i n s t a l l a t i o n o f t h e " f o r -
wards-facing" child seat, ensure that
t h e b a c k o f t h e c h i l d s e a t i s i n c o n t a c t
w i t h t h e b a c k o f t h e v e h i c l e ' s s e a t
and that the head restraint does not
c a u s e a n y d i s c o m f o r t .
I f t h e h e a d r e s t r a i n t h a s t o b e r e m o v e d ,
ensure that it is stored or attached se-
c u r e l y t o p r e v e n t i t f r o m b e i n g t h r o w n
around the vehicle in the event of
s h a r p b r a k i n g . As a safety precaution, do not leave:
- o n e o r m o r e c h i l d r e n a l o n e a n d
unsupervised in a vehicle,
- a c h i l d o r a n a n i m a l i n a v e h i c l e w h i c h i s e x p o s e d t o t h e s u n , w i t h
the windows closed,
- t h e k e y s w i t h i n r e a c h o f c h i l d r e n inside the vehicle.
To prevent accidental opening of the
doors and rear windows, use the
" C h i l d l o c k " .
T a k e c a r e n o t t o o p e n t h e r e a r w i n -
d o w s b y m o r e t h a n o n e t h i r d .
T o p r o t e c t y o u n g c h i l d r e n f r o m t h e
r a y s o f t h e s u n , fi t s i d e b l i n d s o n t h e

position on the front passenger seat,
unless the rear seats are already oc-

Installing a booster seat
T h e c h e s t p a r t o f t h e s e a t b e l t m u s t

Ensure that the lap part of the seat
b e l t p a s s e s c o r r e c t l y o v e r t h e c h i l d ' s
thighs.
