ACCESS
ALARM
System which protects and provides a
deterrent against the theft of your vehi-
cle. It provides two types of protection,
e x t e r i o r a n d i n t e r i o r , a s w e l l a s a s e l f -
protection function.
Exterior perimeter protection
The system detects opening of the ve-
hicle.
The alarm is triggered if anyone tries to
enter the vehicle by forcing a door, the
boot or the bonnet.
Interior volumetric protection
The system detects any variation in the
volume in the passenger compartment.
The alarm is triggered if anyone breaks
a window or moves inside the vehicle.
If you wish to leave a pet in the vehicle
or a window partially open, deactivate
the interior volumetric protection.
Self-protection function
The system detects the putting out of
service of its components.
The alarm is triggered if anyone tries
to put the wires of the siren, the central
control or the battery out of service. Locking the vehicle with full
alarm
Activation
Switch off the ignition and get out of
the vehicle.
Lock or deadlock the vehicle using
the locking button on the remote
control.
The alarm is activated; the indicator
lamp on button A fl a s h e s o n c e p e r s e c -
ond.
T h e e x t e r i o r p e r i m e t e r p r o t e c t i o n i s a c -
tivated, 5 seconds after the locking but-
ton on the remote control is pressed.
The interior volumetric protection is acti-
vated, 45 seconds after the locking but-
ton on the remote control is pressed. Deactivation
Unlock the vehicle using the unlock-
ing button on the remote control.
The alarm is deactivated; the indicator
lamp on button A switches off.
D o n o t m a k e a n y m o d i fi c a t i o n s
to the alarm system, this could
cause malfunctions. If an opening - door or boot - is
not closed fully, the vehicle is not
l o c k e d , b u t t h e e x t e r i o r p e r i m -
eter protection will be activated
after 45 seconds at the same
time as the interior volumetric
protection.

WINDOW CONTROLS
System which opens or closes a win-
dow manually or automatically. It is
fi t t e d w i t h a s y s t e m w h i c h p r o v i d e s p r o -
tection if an obstacle is detected on the
one-touch models and a deactivation
system to prevent misuse of the rear
switches on all models.
1. Driver's electric window switch.
2.
Passenger's electric window switch.
3. Rear right electric window switch.
4. Rear left electric window switch.

Press or pull the switch. The
window stops as soon as
the switch is released.
The electric window switches re-
m a i n o p e r a t i o n a l f o r a p p r o x i m a t e -
ly 45 seconds after the ignition is
switched off or until a front door is
opened.
One-touch electric windows There are two methods
of operation:
- manual mode
Press or pull the switch gently.
The window stops as soon as the
switch is released.
- automatic mode
Press or pull the switch fully.
The window opens or closes
completely when the switch is
released.
Pressing the switch again stops
the movement of the window. The electric window switches
r e m a i n o p e r a t i o n a l f o r a p p r o x i -
mately 45 seconds after the igni-
tion is switched off or until a front
door is opened.
Safety anti-pinch
The one-touch front electric windows are
fi t t e d w i t h a s a f e t y a n t i - p i n c h f u n c t i o n .
When the window rises and meets an
obstacle, it stops and partially lowers
again.
In the event of unwanted opening
o f t h e w i n d o w o n c l o s i n g ( f o r e x -
ample in the presence of frost):
press the switch until it opens
completely,
then pull it immediately until
it closes,
continue to hold the switch
f o r a p p r o x i m a t e l y o n e s e c o n d
after the window has closed.
The safety anti-pinch func-
tion is not active during these
operations.

Deactivating the rear window and
door switches
For the safety of your children, press
switch 5 to prevent operation of the
rear windows irrespective of their
position.
With the lamp on, the rear controls are
deactivated.
With the lamp off, the rear controls are
activated.
This control also deactivates the
interior rear door controls (see
"Child safety - § Electric child
lock"). Reinitialisation
In the event of a malfunction you have
to reinitialise the operation of the elec-
tric windows:
release the switch and pull it again
until the window closes completely,
h o l d t h e s w i t c h f o r a p p r o x i m a t e l y
one second after closing,
press the switch to lower the window
automatically.
The safety anti-pinch function is not
active during these operations. Always remove the key from the
ignition when leaving the vehicle,
even for a short time.
In the event of contact during op-
eration of the windows, reverse
the movement of the window.
To do this, press the switch con-
cerned.
When the driver operates the
passenger electric window
switches, they should ensure
that no one is preventing correct
closing of the windows.
The driver should ensure that
passengers use the electric win-
dows correctly.
Be aware of children when oper-
ating the windows.

ADVICE ON CHILD SEATS
As a safety precaution, do not leave:
- a child or children alone and un-supervised in a vehicle,
- a c h i l d o r a n a n i m a l i n a v e h i c l e w h i c h i s e x p o s e d t o t h e s u n , w i t h
the windows closed,
- t h e k e y s w i t h i n r e a c h o f c h i l d r e n inside the vehicle.
To prevent accidental opening of the
doors and rear windows, use the
" C h i l d l o c k " .

w i n d o w s b y m o r e t h a n o n e t h i r d .
T o p r o t e c t y o u n g c h i l d r e n f r o m t h e
r a y s o f t h e s u n , fi t s i d e b l i n d s o n t h e
rear windows.
C h i l d r e n u n d e r t h e a g e o f 1 0 m u s t
not travel in the "forwards-facing"
position on the front passenger seat,
unless the rear seats are already oc-
c u p i e d b y o t h e r c h i l d r e n , c a n n o t b e
u s e d o r a r e a b s e n t .
D e a c t i v a t e t h e p a s s e n g e r a i r b a g
when a "rearwards-facing" child seat
is installed on the front seat.
O t h e r w i s e , t h e c h i l d w o u l d r i s k b e i n g
s e r i o u s l y i n j u r e d o r k i l l e d i f t h e a i r b a g
w e r e t o i n fl a t e .
Installing a booster seat
T h e c h e s t p a r t o f t h e s e a t b e l t m u s t
b e p o s i t i o n e d o n t h e c h i l d ' s s h o u l d e r
w i t h o u t t o u c h i n g t h e n e c k .
Ensure that the lap part of the seat
b e l t p a s s e s c o r r e c t l y o v e r t h e c h i l d ' s
thighs.

The incorrect installation of a child
s e a t i n a v e h i c l e c o m p r o m i s e s t h e

accident.

When installing a child seat using the
s e a t b e l t , e n s u r e t h a t t h e s e a t b e l t i s
tightened correctly on the child seat
a n d t h a t i t s e c u r e s t h e c h i l d s e a t fi r m l y
on the seat of your vehicle.
F o r o p t i m u m i n s t a l l a t i o n o f t h e " f o r -
wards-facing" child seat, ensure that
t h e b a c k o f t h e c h i l d s e a t i s i n c o n t a c t
w i t h t h e b a c k o f t h e v e h i c l e ' s s e a t
and that the head restraint does not
c a u s e a n y d i s c o m f o r t .
I f t h e h e a d r e s t r a i n t h a s t o b e r e m o v e d ,
ensure that it is stored or attached se-
c u r e l y t o p r e v e n t i t f r o m b e i n g t h r o w n
around the vehicle in the event of
s h a r p b r a k i n g .
