Changing a fuse
The extraction tweezer and the spare fuses are
located on the back of the dashboard fuseboxcover.
For access to them:)unclip the cover by pulling on the side, )remove the cover completely,)remove the pliers.

Changing a fuse

Before changing a fuse, the cause of the failure
must be identified and rectified. ) Identify the faulty fuse by checking thecondition of its filament.
)
Use the special tweezer to extract the fuse from its housing.)
Always replace the faulty fuse with a fuse of the same rating.)
Check the correspondence between the
number marked on the box, the rating
marked on the fuse and the tables below.

Audio pre-equipment
Your vehicle is equipped with cer tain factory-
fitted audio equipment:
- a dual-function aerial at the rear of the roof,
- a coaxial aerial cable
,- basic interference suppression,
- cabling for speakers in the front doors and
tweeters in the dashboard,
- cabling for speakers in the rear doors
- a 40 -way connector.

Before installing a radio unit or speakersin your vehicle, you can contact a CITROËN dealer who will give you the par t number for a suitable wiring harness.


Fitting an audio unit
)
Unclip the storage box on each side using
a screwdriver and pull out.
Y
ou will then have access to an aerial coaxialcable and a 40 -way connector.
Then refer to the instructions provided with your audio unit.
Fitting speakers

It is possible to fit:


- 165 mm diameter speakers in the front
doors,

-
13 0 mm diameter speakers in the rear
doors,

- 22.5 mm diameter tweeters in the top of the
dashboard. The audio unit is
fitted in place of one of the
storage boxes located below the heating and
air conditionin
g control panel.

Identifi cation markings
B. Vehicle identification number on the dashboard.This number is indicated on a self-adhesive label which is visible through the windscreen.
C. Manufacturer's label.
The VIN is indicated on a self-destroying label
affixed to the left hand centre pillar. It bears the followin
g information:


- the tyre pressures, for unladen and
laden conditions,
- the wheel rim and tyre sizes,

- the brands of tyre recommended by the manufacturer,

- the spare tyre inflation pressure,

- the paint colour code.

Wheels which are fitted with 205/45 R17tyres cannot be fitted with snowchains. For more information, contacta CITROËN dealer or a qualifiedworkshop.
The tyre pressures must be checked when the tyres are cold, at least oncea month.

Low tyre pressures increase fuelconsumption.
A. Vehicle identification number (VIN) under
the bonnet.This number is engraved on the bodywork near
the passenger compar tment filter. Various visible markings
for the identification of your vehicle.
D. Tyre/paint label. This label is affixed to the left hand centre pillar.
