These warning lamps may be accompanied by a message and/or a sound signal
Engine oil pressure
It comes on for a few sec-onds each time you switch on the ignition.
If this warning lamp comes on, engine running, it tells you that the oil pressure is low.
It is essential to stop the vehicle.
Contact a CITROËN dealer.
Coolant temperature warning lamp
It comes on for a few sec-onds each time you switch on the ignition.
If this warning lamp comes on, engine running, it tells you that the coolant temperature is rising abnormally.
It is essential to stop the vehi-cle.
Check the coolant level.
See “Levels”.

Battery charge
This warning lamp should go out when the engine is running.

Warning lamp for park-ing brake, brake fl uid level and braking dis-tribution malfunction
With the engine running, the light-ing of this warning lamp indicates that the parking brake is on or not properly released, that the brake fl uid level is low or that the braking system is malfunctioning.

Driver's seat belt not fastened
This lamp comes on if the LH seat belt is not fastened when the ignition is switched on and while the vehicle is moving at up to approx. 20 km/h (12 mph). Above this speed, the warning lamp fl ashes, accompanied by a sound signal for around 120 sec-onds. Then it remains on.
SERVICE
This warning lamp remains on for a seri-ous fault. Consult a CITROËN dealer as soon as pos-sible.
This warning lamp remains on only for a short time for faults that are minor. Contact a CITROËN dealer if necessary.
To learn the origin of the corre-sponding alert, refer to the log of alerts (See chapter “Displays Aand C” to chapter “Multifunction displays” or your NaviDrive hand-book).
Fuel low
It comes on for a few sec-onds each time you switch on the ignition.
If the fuel low warning lamp comes on, there remain approx. 4 to 6 litres of fuel in the tank.
Depollution system
It remains on until you start the engine.
If this warning lamp fl ashes or lights up while you are driving, this indicates a problem with the depollution system.
Consult a CITROËN dealer as soon as possible.

When navigation is to be used for the fi rst time, or when the batter y has been disconnected for any reason, the naviga-tion system has to be initialised. For this operation the vehicle must be parked outdoors so that it can pick up satellite signals. Turn the ignition to position M (see vehicle Handbook) and leave for at least fi fteen minutes.
INTRODUCTIONThe on-board navigation system uses audible and visual instructions to guide you towards the destination of your choice.The system uses a cartographic database stored on a CD-ROM, and a GPS system.The G PS system enables your position to be plotted via contact with a number of satellites.The navigation system is composed of the following elements :A CD-ROM reader.A button for recall of the last voice mes-sage - during navigation, a long press on the end of the lighting control stalk 7repeats the latest voice information.Cartographic data in the form of a CDROM that has to be inserted, printed side up, in the aperture X.A synthesised voice for enunciating the guidance instructions during navigation.A display screen.A GPS aerial.Control on the dashboard and controls at the steering wheel.

If you have a twin card it is necessary, on fi rst installation or when updating your director y, to inser t the SIM c ard from your mobile telephone, then to transfer the information on it into the NaviDrive director y. See the Main Menu for the Directory.
ENTER THE PIN CODENaviDrive c an def initively memorise the PIN code of a SIM card. This memorisation having been accepted, your PIN code will be required only once, at the fi rst entry.Enter your PIN code using the buttons on the keypad W, then validate by pressing the control G or alternatively button # on the keypad W.
Remark :After three errors in trying to enter the code, your telephone will be blocked. You will then have to enter your deblocking code (PUK code).The PUK code is supplied with your SIM card by your service provider. The PUK code tolerates 10 successive errors. After this the SIM card will be un-usable.
