The telephone ring is sent to the speaker by the front passenger'sseat.

f an audio source (CD, radio, ...) is in operation when the call isreceived, it is placed on MUTE and only the incoming call is heard.

gnition switch is in the ACC or ON position, the audiosystem is activated automatically if an incoming call is received, even if it was originally off.

  GENERAL OPERATION
 
 
Turn the "SOUND" dial; the musical 
ambiences change in the followingorder:
 
CLASSIC / JAZZ / POP / ROCK / HIP-HOP.
 
Once the ambience has been selected, press the "SOUND" button
to confi rm.
  "CLASSIC": o
ptimises the acoustics
to obtain perfect equalisation of the 
sound for classical music.
 
"JAZZ": optimises the acoustics to 
obtain an ambient sound with specifi cmodulations in the bass, mid tone and
treble for jazz. 
  "P
OP": optimises the acoustics to obtain clear vocals and modulation of 
the bass and treble for pop music.
  "R
OCK": optimises the acoustics to 
obtain a sound in harmony with the rhythm which places the emphasis on
the mid tone for rock music. 
  "HIP-H
OP": optimises the acoustics
to obtain a powerful sound and
accentuation of the bass for hip-hop music. SELECTING THE "TYPE" MUSICAL AMBIENCE
   
If the "TYPE" is chan
ged, the sound cuts out briefl y. SELECTING "FIELD" SURROUND EFFECT
   
Turn the "
SOUND" dial; the surroundeffects change in the following order: 
  N
ORMAL / STAGE / LIVE / HALL.
 
Once the surround effect has been selected, press the "SOUND" button
to confi rm.
  "N
ORMAL": produces a sound in 
which the voices are at the front andthe instruments surround the listener.
  "STAGE": 
produces a sound in which
the voices are immediately facing the listener, as on a stage. 
 
"LIVE": produces a sound similar to 
that of a live show, in which the sound reaches the listener from all directions. 
  "HALL": produces a sound similar to
th
at of a concert hall with defl ection of 
the sound.
