Fuseboxes
There are two fuseboxes in the glovebox, one fusebox in the
engine compartment and another fusebox on the battery.
Changing a fuse
Before replacing a fuse, it is essential to find the cause of the
incident and to have it rectified. The fuse identification numbers a re
indicated inside the fusebox.
Replace a blown fuse with one of the same rating
(the same colour)
Use the special tool A that is provided in the fuse housing flap,
which also contains spare fuses.

Engine compartment fuses
Fusebox
To access the fusebox located in
the engine compartment, detach
and remove the cover.
All work on the MAXI fuses, which are located in these fus eboxes
and which give extra protection, is the preserve of CITR OËN technicians.
After any operation, carefully
reclose the cover. If the cover is
not correctly positioned or not
properly closed, that could cause
serious problems on your vehi-
cle. For the same reason, take
care not to spill any liquid in the
fusebox.

the cover.

Note : A slight misting may appear on the surface of
the headlamp glass in certain conditions of use.
C H A N G I N G B U L B S - H A L O G E N H E A D L A M P S
Dipped beam
1. Remove the rubber plug
.
2. Rotate the bulb-holder a quarter turn anti-clockwis e
and remove it from its housing.
3. Replace the bulb H7.
4. Reposition the bulb-holder by pushing it in, tighte -
ning it by a quarter turn (clockwise).
5. Put back the rubber plug.
Changing a halogen bulb should only be done after the headlamp has been

switched off for a few minutes (risk of serious burn).
Do not touch the bulb directly with your fingers, use lint-fre e cloths.
It is imperative to use only anti-U.V. type bulbs in
order not to damage the headlamp.

Main beam
1.
Remove the rubber plug.
2. Detach the clips by lowering
them on each side of the bulb.
3. Pull on t he bulb- holder t o
remove it.
4. Replace the bulb H1.
5. Push the bulb-holder back into
its housing.
6. Reattach the clips.
7. Put back the rubber plug. Sidelamp
1.
Rotate the bulb-holder a quarter
turn anti-clockwise.
2. Remove it from its housing.
3. Replace the bulb H6W.
4. Reposition the bulb-holder.
5.
Rotate it a quarter turn clock-
wise to reposition in its housing. Direction indicator
1.
The direction indicator bulb is
located underneath the main
beam bulb. Remove the rub-
ber plug.
2. Pull on the bulb-holder to re-
move it.
3. Replace the bulb H21.
4. Reposition the bulb-holder in
the bracket and push it in.
5. Put back the rubber plug.

 Main beam (H7)
1. Remove the rubber plug
.
2. Rotate the bulb-holder a quarter turn anti-clockwis e
and remove it from its housing.
3. Replace the bulb H7.
4. Reposition the bulb-holder by pushing it in, tighte -
ning it by a quarter turn (clockwise).
5. Put back the rubber plug.

FRONT LENS WITH XENON DUAL-FUNCTION
DIRECTIONAL HEADLAMPS
 Xenon dual-function headlamp (dipped/main beam)
If the headlamp bears this symbol, any
operation to change the Xenon dual-function
directional headlamp D1S is the preserve of
professionals (risk of electrocution).
Contact a CITROËN dealer.
It is recommended to change both bulbs at the same
time if one of them is faulty.

VIREAR LENS
Note the bulb that is faulty.
Bulbs
 Direction indicator: PY21W.
 Stoplamp and sidelamp :
P21/5W.
 Reversing lamp : P21W.Rear lamp units on the
bodywork
1.
With the tailgate open, press
on the plastic cover A, located
close to the lens, to release it
from its housing.
2. Undo the two screws B on the
side of the lens and detach the
lamp by pulling it rearwards.
3. Disconnect the connector linking
the lens unit with the tailgate.
4. Remove the bulb-holder.
5. Replace the bulbs. To remove a
bulb, rotate it a quarter turn. To
refit the bulb, rotate it a quarter
turn in the other direction.
6. Reposition the bulb-holder.
7. Reconnect the connector to
the lens unit.
8. Reattach the lamp unit on the
bodywork and do up the two
screws.
9. Reposition the plastic cover
by exerting a pressure. Rear lamps on the tailgate
1.
With the boot open, remove the
plastic cover on the tailgate.
2. Remove the bulb-holder from
its housing.
3. Replace the bulb. To remove a
bulb, rotate it a quarter turn. To
refit the bulb, rotate it a quarter
turn in the other direction.
4. Reposition the bulb-holder.
5. Refit the plastic cover.
