LAMPS
The panoramic glass roof lamps
have two operating modes :
- automatic lighting when you
open a door or when the front in-
terior lamp is in the permanent
position,
- permanent lighting.

Note :
- the opening of a door switches the interior lamps on.
- the opening of the tailgate switches the third-row interi or lamp on, also the boot lamps.
INTERIOR LAMPS
1. Reading lamps
A press on one of the buttons
switches the corresponding spot-
lamp on or off.
They do not come on if the ignition
is switched off or if the vehicle is in
economy mode. When you leave the vehicle :
-
they come on when you remove the
ignition key (for about 30 seconds),
or when a door is opened
.
-
they go out after 30 seconds with
the doors closed, or immediately the
vehicle is locked, or after 10 minutes
if a door is open
.

The portable flash light, connected to the boot wall,
possesses the double function :
- boot lamp,
- portable lamp.
The boot lamp
A comes on automatically when you
open the boot.
The portable lamp operates on rechargeable batterie s.
Note :
- Never replace the rechargeable batteries with ordi nary
batteries.
- Replace them with identical ones of the NiMH type.
- Respect the polarities when you are positioning these rechargeable batteries.

See the procedure to be followed in the chapter « C hanging
bulbs », to accees the rechargeable batteries. To use the portable flash light:
- Remove it from its housing by starting to pull from the
top as indicated by the arrow.
- Press on the switch C
, located on the back of the
lamp, to turn it on or off.
- The bracket B
allows you to put the lamp down for
a precise purpose (for example while changing a
wheel).
To stow the portable flash light:
- Always position the lamp in its housing starting from the bottom.
if it is not properly positioned, it may not recharge and will fail to come on when you open the boot.
Note:
- Putting the portable lamp back in position automati -
cally turns it off, if you have not already done so.
- The portable lamp can stay on for a maximum
of 45 minutes and recharges in a
few hours as you are driving.: 183

Hold down one of the buttons 1 to 5 on the alphanumeric keypad to choose the Cd that you wish to play back.
1. Press on button C or rotate the control on the steering wheel D upwards to listen to the next Cd.2. Press on button B or rotate the control on the steering wheel D downwards to listen to the previous Cd.Note: Playback of the star t of the Cd is automatic.After each change of source, on return to Cd changer source, playback will resume at the same point where it had been interrupted.

Note:Each compartment takes one disc only.The Cd changer will not operate if discs are inserted the wrong way up.

To remove a Cd, give a long press on the corresponding button A.

Press successively on button 24, until the desired source is obtained.

The telephone function consists of a GSM telephone incorporated in Navidrive.it has a “Hands-free” function, provided by a microphone located in the front interior lamp and controls at the steering wheel for accessing the majority of operations.
As wit h any mobil e t el ephone, t his t el ep hon e op er at e s t hanks to b ot h cellular and terrestrial networks. For this reason, it cannot guarantee a con-nection in all cases.
Do not allow yourself to be distracted while you are driving.I t i s e s s e n t i a l t o c o m p l y w i t h t h e national legislation in force.Stop the vehicle if you wish to pursue a telephone conversation or proceed w i t h c e r t a i n a c t i o n s (c o m p o si n g a number for example).
Apart from during a communication, it indi-cates to you:the presence of voice messages or text messages (S M S) that have not been read,the communication time since the last update,the level of reception of the networks.
during a communication, it indicates to you:the time elapsed since the star t of the communication,the number (provided the option and the service are available),the name of your correspondant (if this is recorded in the directory),the level of reception of the network.
