There is a difference in sound quality between the different audio sources (radio, CD, CD c h a n g e r . . . ) .
C h e c k t h a t t h e a u d i o s e t t i n g s ( V o l u m e , B a s s , Treble, Ambience, Loudness) are adapted to the sources listened to. It is advisable to set t h e A U D I O f u n c t i o n s ( B a s s , T r e b l e , F r o n t - R e a r B a l a n c e , L e f t - R i g h t B a l a n c e ) t o t h e m i d d l e position, select the musical ambience "None" and set the loudness correction to the "Active" position in CD mode or to the "Inactive" position in radio mode.
F o r o p t i m u m s o u n d q u a l i t y , t h e a u d i o s e t t i n g s ( V o l u m e , B a s s , T r e b l e , Ambience, Loudness) can be adapted to the different sound sources, w h i c h m a y r e s u l t i n a u d i b l e d i f f e r e n c e s w h e n c h a n g i n g s o u r c e ( r a d i o , C D , C D c h a n g e r . . . ) .

For reasons of safety, the driver should only carry out operations which require prolonged attention while the vehicle is stationary. The player is compatible with the following formats:DVD-R, DVD+R, DVD+RW, CD-R, CD-RW, VCD and SVCD. By means of the AUX1 and AUX2 inputs, this pack permits the connection of auxiliary systems (camcor der, games console, etc.). T h e a u d i o e q u i p m e n t o n l y p l a y s a u d i o fi l e s w i t h t h e extension ".mp3" with a sampling rate of 32 KHz to 48 KHz.

To switch on the system, switch on the vehicle's ignition.
Press the POWER/EJECT button on the DVD/CD player or on the remote control.
Play begins automatically.
To load a disc, insert it gently, printed face uppermost, until it is fully inserted.
Press the POWER/EJECT button on the DVD/CD player or remote control.
Remove the disc gently.

When the ignition is off, the video pack will switch off automatically after approximately ten minutes to avoid dischargin g the battery.

The player does not start. - Check the vehicle's fuses.
The player does not react to pressing of the remote control buttons. - T h e r e m o t e c o n t r o l b a t t e r i e s a r e fl a t . R e p l a c e t h e m . - The remote control sensor is hampered by objec ts or is dirty. Remove all objects on the remote control receiver or clean the surface using a damp cloth. - The video pack has overheated. Let it cool for a few minutes.
Image or sound interference while playing a DVD. The image remains frozen during play. The player cannot read the disc. The disc may be d amaged or dirty.
The player does not play the disc inserted. - T h e f o r m a t o f t h e d i s c d o e s n o t c o r r e s p o n d t o t h e s p e c i fi c a t i o n s o f t h e p l a y e r . - If it is cold, condensation may have formed on the laser. Wait approximately 5 minutes to allow t he humidity to evaporate.
When a DVD/VCD/SVCD is played, the image is of poor quality. - Remove the disc. - Using the SETUP button , adjust the brightness and insert the disc again.
No image is displayed on the monitor. - Press the SOURCE button until the image appea rs. - Press the SCREEN ON/OFF button.
There is no sound in the audio headphones. - Increase the volume using the VOLUME +/- buttons on the remote control or using the dial on the headphones. - Check that the correct channel is selected on the headphones. - Press the SOURCE button until the sound arrive s. - Replace the headphone batteries.
The start-up screen does not appear following ejection of the disc. - Insert another disc. - Switch the system off and then on again.
