To recall a memorised driving
position
Vehicle stationary, ignition
switched on or engine running
- Press briefly on button1 or 2 to
recall the corresponding pre-set
position.
Note : after five consecutive re -
calls of a pre-set position, the
function will be deactivated until
the engine is started.
Vehicle in motion
- Keep button 1 or 2 pressed to
recall the corresponding pre-set
position.
Memorisation of driving

You can pre-set two driving posi
-
tions via the buttons located on
the side of the seat.
Memorising a driving
position
To pre-set a driving position :
- With the ignition on, adjust your
seat and your rear view mirrors.
- Press on button M then imme-
diately on button 1 «first driving
position » or button 2 «second
driving position ».
The memorisation will be con -
firmed by a sound signal. Memo -
risation of a new position cancels
the previous one.
Do not attempt to pre-set a driving position while the vehicle is moving.

For easy modification of your interior vehicle space, all the rear seats can b
e individually folded : onto the
second-row floor, and under the third-row floor (in the case of the Grand C4 Pica sso). You can then
have a load floor that is continuous up to the front seat backrests.

LONGITUDINAL ADJUSTMENT
Lift the control A, located at the
front of the seat, then adjust the
seat into the position desired.
THE « COMFORT » POSITION
The 3 second-row seats are inde-
pendent of each other and all the
same width. They all can have a
« comfort » position.
To place the seat(s) in the
comfort position
- Pull on the control B.
The backrest reclines and the seat
base pivots slightly.
To return the seat to the initial
position
- Pull on the control B and allow
the seat to come forwards.
IMPORTANT : Always supervise any movements of seats by ch ildren.
REAR HEAD RESTRAINTS
The rear head restraints have two
possible positions :
1.
a stowed position for when the
seats are not occupied,
2. a deployed position to assure
passenger safety, by raising
the restraints to their locking
point.
To lower the head restraints
- Press on the unlocking button.
- Press on the top of the head restraint.
To raise the head restraints
- Pull the head restraint upwards as far as it will go.
- Press on the unlocking button and pull the head restraint up -
wards.

Each seat can be folded onto the floor to enable you to
modify your vehicle’s interior space.
TO FOLD THE SEATS
- Pull on the control C upwards as indicated by the
arrow, to unlock the seat. Push the backrest slightly
forwards so that the backrest pivots, folding onto the
seat base. The assembly then lowers onto the floor.
TO RETURN THE SEATS TO THE UPRIGHT
POSITION
Raise the backrests and push them rearwards so that
they lock in position
PLATES BEHIND THE SECOND ROW
SEATS
Plates below the second row seats provide the bottom
of the bootspace with rigidity. They automatically follow
the seat movements (e.g. longitudinal adjustment,
folding).
A storage area is available underneath the plates.

Each seat can be folded onto the
floor to form a flat surface, thus
enabling you to modify your vehi-
cle’s interior space.
TO FOLD THE SEATS
From the exterior
- Pull on the control C upwards,
as indicated by the red arrow, to
unlock the seat. Push the back -
rest slightly forwards, so that the
backrest pivots, folding onto the
seat base. The assembly will
then lower onto the floor. From the boot (in the loading
situation, for example)
You can fold the second-row
seat(s) from the boot, having first
folded the third-row seats.
- Pull on the control
D to unlock
the chosen seat, push the back -
rest gently forwards.
TO RETURN THE SEATS TO
THE UPRIGHT POSITION
1. Return the second-row seat
bases to their initial position
and lock them in that position.
2. Raise the backrests and push
them rearwards so that they
lock in position.
To unlock / lock the rigid plate :
- Slide the latch A on the plate
downwards, to unlock.
- Return the plate to the upright position, then slide the latch A
upwards, to lock.
Note : Before deploying the rigid
plates, check that the second-row
seats are slid as far as possible
rearwards. 5-seater configurations
do not have these rigid plates. RIGID PLATE
Each second-row seat backrest
has a rigid plate attached.
This plate enables you :
- to have a continuous load surface in the boot, whatever the positions
of the seats,
- to avoid having objects sliding un -
der the second-row seats.
Before moving the third-row seats, return the second-row ri gid
plates to their initial position and lock them.
Emergency exit : Should the first system fail (control C),
the control D is available for use by third-row passenge rs

to accelerate their exit.
IMPORTANT : Always supervise any movements of seats
by children.

« CINEMA SEAT » POSITION
This position allows you to free up
space between the first row and
the second row.
Pull the control E under the seat.
Note : This position is possible
with the lateral seats. ACCESS TO THE THIRD ROW
SEATS
The third-row seats can be accessed
via the lateral second-row seats.
1.
Pull the control E. The seat un-
locks and the seat base comes
up against the backrest.
2. Hold the control E in the raised
position, pushing forwards.
The whole slides towards the
front seat.
3. Raise and lock the rigid plate.
Space becomes free behind the
seat, the third-row passengers
can get to their seats. To exit the third-row seat
positions :
1.
Hold the control E in the raised
position. The seat unlocks
and the seat base comes up
against the backrest.
2. Push the seat backrest, still
holding the control E in the
raised position.
Note : if the table on the back of
the first-row seat is down, close it
to enable this operation.
Repositioning the seat,
from the exterior,
with the door open
If there are passengers seated in
the third row :
1. Manually return the assembly
as far as possible rearwards.
The seat does not return as
far as the maximum aft posi-
tion, so as to retain leg space
for the third-row passengers.
2. Fold the seat base.

Two rigid concertina plates, which
cannot be separated from the ve-
hicle, are arranged on each of the
third-row seats.
- If the seats are folded, the con -
certina plates then cover the
seats and completely conceal
them.
- If the third-row seats are upright, the concertina plates are folded
and provide a totally flat load
surface behind the seats.
- With the third-row seats up -
right, alternatively the concer -
tina plates folded in the vertical
position will allow objects to be
stowed.
To fold the concertina plates :
Pull on the control, the 3 sections
of the plate will fold concertina-
wise.TO RETURN THE SEATS TO
THE UPRIGHT POSITION
1. Return the second-row rigid
plates to their initial position
and lock them.
2. Having folded your concertina
plate, pull on the control F lo-
cated behind the seat backrest.
The backrest pivots rearwards,
pulling the seat base with it. The
seat locks in the open position.
TO STOW THE SEATS
1. Return the second-row rigid
plates to their initial position
and lock them.
2. Lower the head restraints.
3. Correctly position the concer -
tina plate vertically behind the
seat.
4. Pull on the control G located
at the bottom of the seat back -
rest. The seat unlocks.
5. Next push the backrest gently
forwards. The backrest pivots,
folding onto the seat base.
The seat base then folds into
the stowage area provided for
that purpose.
6. Reposition the concertina plates
over the folded seats.
Before moving the third-row seats, return the rigid plates of the
second-row seats to the upright position and lock them.
Do not try to fold a third-row seat that has not first had the backrest fully locked in place.
Do not leave objects either on or underneath the seat bas es of the
third-row seats when you are folding them.
Do not leave your hand on the control G as you fold the seats, as
you risk trapping your fingers.

A Lounge version is available in the
5 seater model. This has two se-
cond-row seats that are identical to
the first-row seats, providing greater
comfort for rear passengers.
ADJUSTING THE SEATS
The seats have the following adjust-
ments :
-
head-restraint adjustment,
- backrest angle,
- greater longitudinal adjustment,
- height-adjustable armrests.
Refer to the page « FRONT
SEATS - Manual adjustments» for
the operation of the adjustment
controls.
LUGGAGE COVER BEHIND
THE SEATS
A flexible luggage cover positio-
ned behind the second-row seats
enables you to prevent objects
from sliding under or between the
second-two seats, as well as con-
cealing the contents of your boot
from outside view.
It is fixed to the floor by two hooks
located behind the seats and an-
chored at special points on the
rear pillars.
This flexible luggage cover is mo-
vable and can be rolled up for
stowage behind the second-row
seats.
SEAT BELTS
For safety reasons, always attach
your seat belt before positioning
the armrest between yourself and
the door.
STORAGE POCKETS
Two storage pockets are located
on the insides of the Lounge ver-
sion seats.

Routing of the seat belt
(C4 Picasso and C4 Grand
Picasso)
- Insert the tongue C into the
buckle on the right, then insert
the second tongue D into the
buckle on the left.
Before use
For safety reasons, it is essential that the seat belt passes th rough the relay ring.
To prevent any damage to seat belts and in order not to get them jammed, take care to stow
them on the sides of the backrests.
Installation of the seat belt

(C4 Picasso)
1. Open the cover A.
2. Remove the belt tongues from
their housing.
3. Bring the belt tongues up to
the relay ring B.
4. Insert the attachment then
pass the tongues through the
ring.
5. Reclose the cover A. Make
sure that the belt is correctly
positioned in the recess in the
cover provided for this pur -
pose. Stowage of the belt tongues

(C4 Picasso) - Operate in reverse order to stow
the belt tongues.
Note : You may opt to leave the
seat belt in the relay ring even if
not using it.
