Tyre under-inflation detection
T h e t y r e u n d e r - i n fl a t i o n d e t e c t i o n
system is a driving aid which informs
you of the state of your tyres.
It does not replace either vigilance or
responsibility on the part of the driver. Economy mode
A f t e r s w i t c h i n g o f f t h e e n g i n e , s o m e
s y s t e m s ( r a d i o , w i p e r s , e l e c t r i c
w i n d o w s , o p e n i n g r o o f , e l e c t r i c s e a t s ,
t e l e p h o n e , v i d e o , i n t e r i o r l i g h t i n g ,
m o t o r i s e d t a i l g a t e , e t c . ) a r e s u p p l i e d
electrically for a maximum of no more
t h a n a r o u n d o n e h o u r , s o a s t o a v o i d
discharging the battery.
This period may be reduced
considerably if the battery’s state of
charge is low.
O n c e t h i s p e r i o d i s o v e r , a m e s s a g e
is displayed on the instrument panel
screen and the active functions are
placed on standby.
These functions will be automatically
reactivated when the vehicle is
restarted.

F. Rear left-hand seat belt warning
lamp.
G. Front passenger’s airbag deactivation

H. Front passenger’s airbag activation

To do this:
W i t h t h e i g n i t i o n s w i t c h e d o f f , i n s e r t
the key into the switch I .
Turn the key to the "OFF" p o s i t i o n , t h e
passenger’s airbag is deactivated.
The front passenger’s airbag deactiva-
tion warning lamp G lights up when the
ignition is switched on.

and for opening the rear doors from the
inside. The electric child safety device
is activated by pressing button

The MANUAL application/release of
the parking brake is always possible by
pulling/pushing control B .

parking brake manually. D o n o t l e a v e t h e v e h i c l e w h i l e
it is being held in the temporary
immobilisation hill start assist
phase.
T o a i d s t a r t i n g o n a g r a d i e n t , y o u r
vehicle is equipped with a system which
keeps it immobilised for a short time
( a b o u t 2 s e c o n d s ) , t h e a p p r o x i m a t e
time it takes to move your foot from the
brake pedal to the accelerator pedal.
This function is only active when:
- T h e v e h i c l e i s c o m p l e t e l y s t a t i o n a r y ,
with your foot on the brake pedal.
- In certain conditions on a gradient.
- With the driver’s door closed.

Automatic operation
The electric parking brake releases
automatically and progressively when
you press the accelerator. With the
v e h i c l e s t a t i o n a r y , t h e p a r k i n g b r a k e
is automatically applied when the
engine is switched off .

This system allows you to maintain a
constant vehicle speed programmed by
the driver.
Cruise control
Speed limiter This system allows you to choose a maximum
speed that you do not wish to exceed.
The chosen speed must be
higher
than 20 mph (30 km/h) . Cruise control is active on the
higher
gears of the gearbox. The chosen
speed must be higher than 25 mph
(40 km/h).

The speed limiter or cruise control
mode is displayed on the instrument
panel when selected.
