INTERIOR
Dual-zone automatic air conditioning
This function enables you to adjust the comfort levels of the driver and the front passenger independently. It is also automatically regulated depending on the external climatic conditions.

NEVER REMOVE THE IGNITION KEY BEFORE THE ENGINE HAS COME TO A COMPLETE STOP.
IT IS ESSENTIAL ALWAYS TO DRIVE WITH THE ENGINE RUNNING, SO AS TO RETAIN STEERING AND BRAKING ASSISTANCE (risk of the steering lock engaging and loss of safety features).
When stationary, having removed the key, carefully turn the steering wheel if you wish to lock the steering.
S : Steering lock
To unlock the steering, gently move the steering wheel while turning the key, without exerting undue force.
When you remove the key, turn your steering wheel to lock the steering. The key can only be removed when in position S.
M : Drive position
The steering is unlocked (by turn-ing the key in position M, if neces-sary move the steering wheel).
D : Starting
Release the key as soon as the engine starts. Never turn it while the engine is running.
Economy mode
When the engine is stopped, some functions (radio, screen wipe , electric windows, sunroof, electric seats, telephone, video etc) are only electrically supplied for about 30 minutes, to avoid discharging the battery.
Once the 30 minutes are over, a message appears on the instrumen t panel screen and the active functions are put on standby.
The electrical components relating to comfort and also the headlamps (not sidelamps or hazard warning lamps) cut out automatically. To react ivate them, it is necessary to start the engine.

DISPLAY CONFIGURATION
To adjust the display bright-ness and contrast:1 Press on A.2 Using C, select the “Brightness - video adjustments” menu. Confi rm by pressing on C on the steering wheel or on D on the radio panel.3 Select the display confi guration with a press on C. Confi rm by pressing on C on the steer-ing wheel or on D on the radio panel.4 Select the brightness adjust-ment. Confi rm by pressing on C on the steering wheel or on D on the radio panel.5 Using C, select normal or alternative display mode, then validate by pressing on C on the steering wheel or on D on the radio panel. To adjust the brightness, select “+” or “-” and confi rm the adjustment by pressing on C.6 Validate “OK” on the screen.

Consecutive presses on the end of the wiper control stalk allow you to select the type of information pre-sented on the multifunction display (date or radio/CD/CD MP3/CD changer).

The driver is advised not to use the controls described opposite whilst driving.

Wheel not detected
The defl ation detection system is a driving aid, but which does not absolve the driver from the need to be vigilant and responsible.
This system does not dispense with the requirement to check the t yres on a regular basis (see “Vehicle identifi ca-tion”), to make sure that the vehicle is behaving correctly and to avoid premature tyre wear arising from driving too fast etc.
Do not forget to check the pressure in the spare wheel.
