ECONOMY MODE
I n o r d e r n o t t o d i s c h a r g e t h e b a t - t e r y w h i l e t h e e n g i n e i s s t o p p e d , your vehicle goes automati-cally into economy mode after a maximum of 3 0 m i n u t e s . E c o n - o m y m o d e i s i n d i c a t e d b y a m e s - s a g e o n t h e s c r e e n .

D: STARTING
Release the key as soon as the e n g i n e s t a r t s . N e v e r t u r n i t w h i l e t h e e n g i n e i s r u n n i n g .
NEVER REMOVE THE IGNITION KEY BEFORE THE ENGINE HAS COME TO A COMPLETE STOP.
IT IS ESSENTIAL ALWAYS TO DRIVE WITH THE ENGINE RUNNING, SO AS TO RETAIN STEERING AND BRAKING ASSISTANCE (risk of the steering lock engaging and loss of safety features).
Do not hang a heavy object on the key; it could pull the key out of alignment in the switch and could cause a malfunction.
When stationary, having removed the key, carefully turn the steering wheel if you wish to lock the steering.

A U T O M A T I C A I R C O N D I T I O N I N G
The system has a differentiated adjustment for the driver's side and passenger's side, in terms of temperature and a i r d i s t r i b u t i o n . T h e a i r fl o w i s c o m m o n t o b o t h s i d e s .
Symbols and messages relating to the automatic air conditioning controls will display on the multifunction screen.
2. TEMPERATURE ADJUSTMENT
To adjust the temperature, press on button 2a to modify the temperature on the passenger's side and on but-ton 2b to modify it on the driver's side.
An adjustment around 21 will give you the optimum comfort level. However, depending on your preferences anywhere between 18 and 24 is quite usual.
Operating the air conditioning system on "AUTO"guarantees good ventilation inside the cabin.Note: there may be a difference between the actual c a b i n t e m p e r a t u r e a n d t h e fi g u r e d i s p l a y e d .
This is the normal operating mode for the system. Depending on the temperature chosen, a press on this b u t t o n , c o n fi r m e d b y t h e l i g h t i n g o f t h e w a r n i n g l a m p , will automatically and simultaneously bring all the fol-lowing functions into play: A i r fl o w .
Cabin temperature.
Air distribution.
Exterior air intake/Air recirculation.
It is recommended to keep all the air vents open. Just by pressing any of the buttons, except for temperature 2aand 2b, you can change to manual mode. The warning lamp goes off, and the automatic air intake function is deactivated.

AUTOMATIC OPERATION
Activation
When you press button A, the automatic mode automatically and simultaneously controls the air fl o w and air distribution for the rear air conditioning.
The warning lamp on button Alights up.
It is recommended to keep both air vents open.
Deactivation
A press on any of the buttons B, Cor D, deactivates the automatic opera-tion of the rear air conditioning.
the warning lamp on button A goes out.
Note: If the air conditioning in the front of the cabin is stopped (func-tion deactivated in the "Air condi-tioning" menu or via the control 4 f o r a d j u s t i n g t h e a i r fl o w ) , t h e n t h e rear automatic air conditioning is not available.
ADJUSTING THE AIR FLOW
If you press buttons B or D you increase or decrease t h e fl o w f o r the rear air conditioning.
The number of diode(s) lit up, c o m p o s i n g t h e s y m b o l f o r a i r fl o w (helix, situated between buttons Band D) expresses its power level.
T o d e a c t i v a t e t h e a i r fl o w a n d a i r distribution for the rear air condi-tioning, press successively on but-ton D so that all the diodes go out.
DISTRIBUTION TO FOOTWELLS/HEADS
Successive presses on button Cwill modify the distribution of the a i r fl o w .
Three directions are available:Passengers' heads.
Passenger footwells.Passengers' heads and footwells.
The arrow lit up indicates the dis-tribution of air chosen manually. In "AUTO" mode, no arrow lights up.
ADJUSTMENT OF THE FLOW OF AIR INTO THE STORAGE UNDER THE FRONT CENTRALARMREST
I f y o u c h o o s e a m a x i m u m fl o w of air in the rear by pressing Band distribution towards passen-ger's heads by pressing C, having closed the rear air vents, you will o b t a i n a m a x i m u m fl o w o f a i r i n t o the storage beneath the armrest.

Press the SOURCE button several times in succession and select the radio.
Press the BAND AST button to select a w a v e b a n d : F M 1 , F M 2 , F M a s t , A M .

Press one of the buttons to carry out a manual search of the radio stations.

This is a normal effect of the way in which radio waves are transmitted and does not indicate any failure of the audio equipment.

There is a difference in sound quality between the different audio sources (radio, CD, CD c h a n g e r . . . ) .
C h e c k t h a t t h e a u d i o s e t t i n g s ( V o l u m e , B a s s , T r e b l e , A m b i e n c e , L o u d n e s s ) a r e a d a p t e d t o the sources listened to. It is advisable to set the AUDIO functions (Bass, Treble, Front-Rear B a l a n c e , L e f t - R i g h t B a l a n c e ) t o t h e m i d d l e position, select the musical ambience "None" and set the loudness correction to the "Active" position in CD mode or to the "Inactive" position in radio mode.

The CD is ejected automatically or is not played by the player.
- Check that the CD is inserted in the player the r i g h t w a y u p . - Check the condition of the CD: the CD cannot b e p l a y e d i f i t i s t o o d a m a g e d . - Check the content in the case of a recorded CD: consult the advice in the "Audio" section. - The audio equipment's CD player does not play DVDs. - Due to inadequate quality, certain recorded CDs will not be played by the audio system.
The CD is inserted upside down, is unplayable, doe s not contain any audio data or contains an audio format which the player cannot play.
