ISOFIX anchorages and the
ISOFIX ixing system
The rear seat positions in your
vehicle are equipped with ISOFIX
anchorages.
These consist of 2 rings situated
between the backrest and the seat
cushion, approx. 28 cm apart.
ISOFIX child seats have 2 latches
which are easy to attach on these
rings.
This ixing system is intended for
children weighing up to 18 kg.
An incorrect installation of a child
seat in a vehicle compromises the
protection of the child in the event
of a collision. The ISOFIX system
guarantees you a convenient, so
-
lid and reliable ixing for your child
seat in your vehicle. The ISOFIX child seats approved for use in your vehicle are : the
ISOFIX
KIDDY and the ISOFIX RÖMER Duo (1).
They are sold by the CITROËN network.
ISOFIX KIDDY
It can be installed “rear-facing” from birth to 13 kg and “forward -facing”
from 9 to 18 kg.
Advice for the installation of your ISOFIX KIDDY child sea t:
In the 2nd row, the vehicle seat should be slid as far back as possible and :- in the “rear-facing” position, the shell of the seat should be in contact with
the backrest of the corresponding front seat.
- in the “forward-facing” position, the corresponding front seat should be
adjusted to an intermediate fore/aft position, backrest uprig ht.
The speciic ISOFIX KIDDY child seat must not be installed in an y of the
3rd row rear seat positions.
ISOFIX RÖMER Duo Il
It can only be installed “forward-facing”, for children from 9 to 18 kg.
Advice for installation of your ISOFIX RÖMER Duo child seat:
Use of the top belt, also called Top Tether, is not nece ssary. When the seat
is installed in the rear of the vehicle, the corresponding fro nt seat should
be adjusted so that the feet of the child are not touchi ng the backrest of
the front seat.
These child seats can also be installed in seat positions tha t do not have
ISOFIX ixings. In this case, they must be secured to the vehicle sea t by
means of the vehicle seat belt.
(1) On the ISOFIX anchorages in your vehicle, you may ix only the
ISOFIX child seats that are approved for your vehicle.
