During broadcasting of traf fi c announce -ments, the sound volume can be adjusted independent ly of t he gener al r adio vol -ume.Rotate the control or press on the controls at the steering wheel J and K to increase or decrease the volume.
The “TA” function lets you switch automati-TATAcally on a temporary basis to an FM station broadcasting road information.The radio station, or the audio source being listened to at that moment, is paused. Once the traffi c information is fi nished, the system switches back to the radio station or audio source initially being listened to.Press on the TA/PTY button to stop listening PTYto a message being broadcast.
CONDITIONS FOR RECEIVING TRAFFIC ANNOUNCEMENTS
You have to be in FM.The station you are tuned to must confi rm through the RDS system that it broadcasts road information.Stations organised in a network (EON) have regional transmitters sending their own programmes. While listening to one of these stations you can switch to any station on the network that is broadcasting traffi c information messages.

IVDo not operate the CD player if the tem-perature in the cabin is higher than +0°C or lower than -10 °C.Some CDs are badly affected by very strong heat and may damage your CD player.In exc essive temperature, an automatic safety mechanism prevents the CD from operating until the temperature becomes more acceptable.
HANDLING OF CD S
Do not drop them.Store the CDs so that they are kept of dust. Avoid touching the disc sur face as any scratches may adversely affect the sound quality.Do not attach any stickers to the discs.Do not write on them.D o n o t u s e d a m a g e d o r d e f o r m e d discs.Do not expose them to heat or direct sunlight.

Hold down one of the buttons 1 to 5 (or 1 to ) on the alphanumeric keypad to choose the CD that you wish to play.
1. Press on button C or rotate the control under the steering wheel upwards to play back the next CD.2. Press on button B or rotate the control under the steering wheel downwards to play back the previous CD.Note: Playback of the star t of the CD is automatic.After each change of source, on return to CD changer source, playback will resume at the same point where it had been interrupted.

To remove a CD, give a long press on the corresponding button A.
S ELECTING CD CHANGER SOURCE
Press successively on button 24, until the desired source is obtained.
