Proximity sensors are located in
the
front and/or rear bumpers of
your vehicle.
W h e n m o v i n g f o r w a r d s o r
r e v e r s i n g , a t a s p e e d l o w e r t h a n
approx. mph, they inform you of
the presence of obstacles located
in their detection zone by :
- a sound signal emitted by the front and/or rear speakers,
- the display of the vehicle outline w i t h b a r s c o r r e s p o n d i n g t o t h e
z o n e s w h e r e a n o b s t a c l e i s
detected.
When the vehicle approaches
an obstacle, the sound signal
indicates the position of the
o b s t a c l e a c c o r d i n g t o w h e t h e r
the sound is emitted from the
front / rear left hand / right hand
speaker. - When the vehicle approaches
the obstacle, the sound signal
becomes more and more rapid
and the bars are seen to move
ever nearer to the vehicle.
- When the obstacle is less than 25 cms from the rear of the ve-
hicle, the sound signal becomes
c o n t i n u o u s a n d a w a r n i n g m e s -
sage appears on the display.

Activation /
Deactivation
You can activate/deactivate
parking assistance by pressing
the button on the dashboard. If
parking assistance is inactive, the
w a r n i n g l a m p i s l i t .
The activation or deactivation of
parking assistance is memorised
w h e n y o u s t o p t h e v e h i c l e .
Note : The system is automatically
deactivated if a trailer is attached
to the vehicle.
