Rear view mirror
Manual day/night model
Adjustment
)
Adjust the mirror so that the glass is
directed correctly in the "day" position.
Day/night position
) Pull the lever to change to the "night"
anti-dazzle position. ) Push the lever to change to the normal "day" position.

y means of a sensor, which measures the
light from the rear of the vehicle, this system
automatically and progressively changes
between the day and night uses.
Automatic day/night model

In order to ensure optimum visibilityduring your manoeuvres, the mirror lightens automatically when reversegear is engaged.

As a safety measure, the mirrorsshould be adjusted to reduce the "blindspot".

Locking the vehicle

Locking using the remote control

Locking is confirmed by fixed lighting of
the direction indicators for approximatelytwo seconds.
According to version, the door mirrors fold at
the same time.
) Press the closed padlock to lockthe vehicle.

If one of the doors or the boot is still open, the central locking does not take place. When the vehicle is locked, if it is unlocked inadvertently, it will relock automatically after thir ty seconds unless a door or the boot is open.
The folding and unfolding of the door mirrors using the remote control can be deactivated by a CITROËN dealer or aqualified workshop.

First press this button to fold the key.
If you do not press the button when folding
the key, there is a risk of damage to the
mechanism.



Locking using the key
)Turn the key to the right in the driver's door lock to lock the vehicle completely.

This is indicated by lighting of the cour tesylamps and flashing of the direction indicators for a few seconds.

Anti-theft protection

Electronic engine immobiliser
The key contains an electronic chip which has
a special code. When the ignition is switchedon, this code must be recognised in order for
star ting to be possible.
This electronic en
gine immobiliser locks theengine management system a few minutes
after the ignition is switched off and prevents
starting of the engine by anyone who does not
have the key.
In the event o
f a fault, you are
informed by illumination of this
warning lamp, an audible signal and a message
in the screen.
In this case, your vehicle will not start; contact
a CITROËN dealer as soon as possible.

Following disconnection of the vehicle battery,
replacement of the remote control battery or
in the event of a remote control malfunction, you can no longer unlock, lock or locate your
vehicle.)First of all, use the key in the lock to unlock
or lock your vehicle.
)Then, reinitialise the remote control.
If the problem persists, contact a CITROËN
dealer as soon as possible.

Changing the battery

Visibility
This section describes all of the lighting and wiper controls, headlamp adjustment, the various interior lamps including the interior mood lighting and in par ticular, the LED lamps, a true signature of your vehicle.

Lighting controls System for selection and control of the various front and rear lamps providing the vehicle's lighting.
The various front and rear lamps of the vehicle
are designed to adapt the driver's visibility progressively according to climatic conditions:
- sidelamps, to be seen,
- dipped beam headlamps to see without dazzling other drivers,
- main beam headlamps to see clearly when
th
e road is clear.

Main lighting
Other lamps are installed to fulfil therequirements of particular conditions of
visibility:
- a rear foglamp to be seen from afar,
- front foglamps for improved vision.
- LED lamps to be seen during the daytime.

Additional lighting

Various automatic lighting control modes
are also available accordin
g to the followingoptions:


- guide-me-home lighting,

- automatic illumination of headlamps.

Programming

In some weather conditions (e.g. low temperature or humidity), the presence of misting on the internal surface of theglass of the headlamps and rear lampsis normal; it disappears after the lamps have been on for a few minutes.

Manual controls
The lighting is controlled directly by the driver
by means of the ring Aand the stalk B.
Automatic illumination of headlamps.

. Stalk for switching the headlamp beam:
pull the stalk to switch between dipped and
main beam headlamps.
In the lamps off and sidelamps modes, the
driver can switch on the main beam headlamps
temporarily ("headlamp flash") by maintaining a pull on the stalk.
A. Main lighting mode selection ring: turn it
to position the symbol required facing the

Sidelamps only.
Dipped headlamps or main beam headlamps.

Displays

Lighting of the corresponding indicator lamp on
the instrument panel confirms the switching onof the lighting selected.
The instrument panel has permanent back-
lighting. Illumination of the instrument panel is
therefore not linked to the exterior lighting.

Lighting on audible warning

When the ignition is switched off, allof the lamps switch off automatically, unless guide-me-home lighting isactivated.
If the lighting is switched on manuallyafter switching off the ignition, thereis an audible signal when a front door is opened to warn the driver that they have forgotten to switch off thevehicle's lighting, with the ignition off.


In good or rainy weather, by both day and night, the front foglamps and the rear foglamp are prohibited. In thesesituations, the power of their beams may dazzle other drivers.
Do not forget to switch off the front foglamps and the rear foglamp whenthey are no longer necessary. Front and rear

When the li
ghting is switched off automatically (with AUTO model) or when the dipped
headlamps are switched off manually, the
foglamps and sidelamps will remain on.) Turn the ring rear wards to switch off the foglamps, the sidelamps will then switchoff.

Temporarily keeping the dipped beam headlamps on after the vehicle's ignition hasbeen switched off makes the driver's exit easier
when the light is poor.

automatic illumination of headlamps is
accompanied by a message in the screen.

Deactivation

Turn ring to a position other than "AU TO ".
Deactivation is accompanied by a message
in the screen.

Association with the automatic "Guide-me-home" lighting

Association with the automatic illumination of
headlamps provides "guide-me-home" lighting
with the following additional options:


- selection of the lighting duration to 15, 30or 60 seconds in the functions that can
be set in the vehicle configuration menu(except in the case of the monochrome screen A, for which the duration is set:
60 seconds),

- automatic activation of "guide-me-home"lighting when automatic illumination of
headlamps is in operation.



Operating fault

In the event of a fault with thesunshine sensor, the lightingcome on, this warning lamp is displayed in
the instrument panel and/or a message appears
in the screen, accompanied by an audible signal.
Contact a CITROËN dealer or a qualified
workshop.
In fog or snow, the sunshine sensor may detect sufficient light. Therefore, the lighting will not come onautomatically.
Do not cover the sunshine sensor,coupled with the rain sensor and located in the centre of the windscreenbehind the rear view mirror; theassociated functions would no longer be controlled.
