Interior mood lighting
This subdued passenger compartment lightingimproves visibility inside the vehicle in low lighting conditions. It comprises several
lamps, located in the footwells and in the lower
dashboard storage compar tment.
Gear shift indicator
Associated with the manual gearbox, this system suggests when to change up to obtain
optimum fuel consumption.
Scented air freshener

The scented air freshener diffuses theselected fragrance throughout the passenger compartment from its location in the ventilation
system.

Digital air conditioning
After setting the desired level of comfor t, the system then automatically controls this level
according to the ambient conditions.

This displays the following information:


- time,

- date,

- ambient temperature
(this flashes if there isa risk of ice),

- status of doors and boot,

- audio sources (radio, CD, USB por t, jacksocket etc.),

- trip computer (refer to the "Instruments andcontrols" section).
Warning messages
(E.g. "Emissions controlsystem faulty") or information messages(E.g.: Automatic headlamps active") may
appear temporarily. These can be cleared by pressing the "ESC"
button.

This can be used to hold a water bottle.
Its lid has a location for storing the vehicle'shandbook pack.) To open the glove box, raise the handle.
It is lit when the lid is opened.

ger's airbag deactivation switch A.It provides access to the ventilation nozzle B , distributing the same air as the vents in the passenger compartment.

Auxiliary socket
The auxiliary socket is located in the " AUX "box on the centre console.
It permits the connection of a por table device,such as a digital audio player of the iPod ®type,
to listen to your music files using the vehicle'sspeakers.














USB Player
For more information on the use of this equipment, refer to the MyWay or Audio systempar t of the "Audio and Telematics" section.
When it is in use, the por table devicecharges automatically.
The U
SB por t is located in the "AU X "box on
the centre console.
It permits the connection of a por table device,
such as a digital audio player of the iPod®
generation 5 and later type or USB memory
stick type.
It reads the audio file formats (mp3, ogg,
wma, wav...) which are transmitted to your
audio equipment and played via the vehicle's
speakers.
You can manage these files using the steering
mounted controls or the audio equipmentcontrol panel and display them on the
multifunction screen.

12 V accessory

Changing a bulb

The headlamps are fitted with polycarbonate glass with a protectivecoating:)do not clean them using a dry or abrasive cloth, nor with a detergent or solvent product,)
use a sponge and soapy water, )
when using a high pressure washer on persistent marks, do notkeep the lance directed towards the lamps or their edges for too long, so as not to damage their protective coating and seals.
)Do not touch the bulb directly withyour fingers, use lint-free cloths. Changing a bulb should only be doneafter the headlamp has been switched off for a few minutes (risk of seriousburns). It is imperative to use only anti-ultraviolet (UV) type bulbs in order notto damage the headlamp. Always replace a failed bulb with a new bulb with the same type andspecification.
