Special conditions for the operation of ZEV mode
ZEV mode can be selected when all of the conditions for its operation are met, in particular an adequate state of charge of the battery (50% at least). In the situations described below, the HDi Diesel must be running; accordingly, ZEVmode cannot be selected or is deactivated automatically. The mode selector remains at or returns to the AUTO position to allow starting of the HDi Diesel engine, as required.
- Manual gear change when in automatic mode using the steering mounted controls for the electronic gearbox.
Cases of non availability of ZEV mode or automatic return
to AUTO mode
- Selection of manual mode by moving the gear selector for the electronic gearbox to position M .
- Sustained and sharp acceleration.
- Use of demisting / defrosting.
- Intensive use of air conditioning.
Action by the driver:

Weights and towed loads (in kg)
* The kerb weight is equal to the unladen weight + driver (75 kg). ** The weight of the braked trailer can be increased, within the GTW limit, if the GV W of the towing vehicle is reduced by an equal amount; warning, towing using a lightly loaded towing vehicle may have an adverse effect on its road holding. To make use of the 300 kg load transfer, the driver must be alone in the vehicle with no luggage in the vehicle.

The GTW and towed load values indicated are valid up to a maximum altitude of 1 000 metres; the towed load mentioned must be reduced by 10 % for each additional 1 000 metres of altitude. The maximum authorised speed is reduced when towing (comply with the legislation in force in your country). High ambient temperatures may result in a reduction in the per formance of the vehicle to protect the engine; if the ambient temperature is above 37 °C, limit the towed load.
