Locking the vehicle
)With the electronic key in the definedzone A , press with a finger on one of
the door handles (at the markings) to lock
the vehicle.
Maintain pressure with your finger until
the windows close completely.

Locking is confirmed by fixed lighting of the direction indicators for approximately two seconds.The door mirrors fold at the same time.
If one of the doors or the boot is still open or if the key for Keyless Entry and Starting has been left inside the vehicle,the central locking does not take place.
When the vehicle is locked, if it isunlocked inadvertently, it will relockautomatically after about thir ty secondsunless a door is opened.
The folding and unfolding of the door mirrors by the remote control can bedeactivated by a CITROËN dealer or a qualified workshop.

As a safety measure (children onboard), never leave the vehicle without taking the key for the Keyless Entry andStarting system, even for a shor t period.Guard against theft when the key for the Keyless Entry and Starting systemis in the defined zone with the vehicle unlocked. After a long period of parking, the automatic detection functionsof the key are inhibited so as to notdischarge the vehicle's battery. You
should then use the remote controlfunction of the key to unlock the vehicle.
Ensure that no one prevents the correct operation of the windows.Be aware of children when operatingthe windows.This
function allows you to identify your vehicle from a distance, particularly in poor light. Your vehicle must be locked.
Locating your vehicle
)Press the closed padlock on the remotecontrol.
This will switch on the cour tesy lamps and thedirection indicators will flash for a few seconds.

Cockpit glass roof

Component which has a tinted glass panoramic sur face to increase the light and visibility in thepassenger compartment.
Fitted with three electric blinds to improve
tem
perature and noise related comfort. There are two options for openin
g and closing:
Electric blinds
) Pull or press control, going beyond the point of resistance.
One press opens or closes the blind
completely.
After a new action on the the control, the
blind continues moving for around 2 cm,
then stops.
) Pull or press the control without goingbeyond the point of resistance (forwards to close and rear wards to open). When you release the control, the blindcontinues moving for around 2 cm, then stops.

Safety anti-pinch

If the blind stops and immediately opens again
during a closing manoeuvre: ) operate the control until the blind is fully open,)
then operate the control until the blind is fully closed. The safety anti-pinch function is not operational during these operations.


If the blind meets an obstacle during operation, you must reverse the movement of the blind. To do this, press the control concerned. When the driver operates the blind control, they must ensure that no one ispreventing correct closing of the blind.
The driver must ensure that passengersuse the blind correctly.
Be aware of children when operating the blind.
Reinitialisation
If power to the blind is cut off while it is moving,
the safety anti-pinch must be reinitialised:)operate the control until the blind is fully closed, )continue to press for at least 3 seconds.
A slight movement of the blind will then be
noticeable, confirming the reinitialisation.
In automatic mode and at the end of its travel,
if the blind meets an obstacle while closin
g it stops and moves back slightly.

They can also be removed.

Automatic day/night model
By means of a sensor, which measures the
light from the rear of the vehicle, this system
automatically and progressively changes
between the da
y and night uses.
Adjustable mirror providing a central rearwardview.
Equipped with an anti-dazzle system, whichdarkens the mirror glass: this reduces
the nuisance to the driver caused by the headlamps from following vehicles, low sun...





Rear view mirror
In order to ensure optimum visibility during your manoeuvres, the mirror lightens automatically when reverse gear is engaged.










Steering wheel adjustment
)When stationary, pull the control lever to yrelease the adjustment mechanism.)
Adjust the height and reach to suit your driving position.)
Push the control lever to lock theadjustment mechanism.

As a safety precaution, these operations should only be carried out while the vehicle is stationary.
As a safety measure, the mirrors shouldbe adjusted to reduce the "blind spot".
Seeing clearly
For better rear vision, align the bottom of the rear view mirror with the bottom of the rear screen.

- never fit one mat on top of another.
The use of mats not approved byCITROËN may inter fere with access tothe pedals and hinder the operation of the cruise control/speed limiter.
)To use the cigarette lighter, press it in and wait a few seconds until it pops outautomatically. )To connect a 12 V accessory (max power:
120 W), remove the cigarette lighter andconnect a suitable adaptor.
You can use this socket to connect a telephonecharger, a bottle warmer...
After use, put the cigarette lighter back intoplace straight away.

Heating and Ventilation
Controls
The incoming air follows various routesdepending on the controls selected by
the driver, the front passenger and rear passengers.
The temperature control enables you to obtain
the level of comfor t required by mixing the air of
the various circuits.
The air distribution control enables you toselect the air vents used in the passenger compartment by the combined use of theassociated buttons.
The air flow control enables you to increase or reduce the speed of the ventilation fan.
These controls are
grouped together on controlpanel Aon the centre console.

Switching the system off
)Turn the air flow control to theleft until all of the indicator lamps go off.
Avoid prolonged operation in interior air recirculation mode or driving for long periods with the system off (risk of condensation and deterioration of air quality). This action switches o
ff the air conditioning and
the ventilation.
Temperature related comfor t is no longer assured but a slight flow of air, due to the
movement of the vehicle, can still be felt.
) Modify the settings (temperature, air flow or
air distribution) or press the "AUTO"button
to reactivate the system with the values setbefore it was switched off.

the air in the passenger compartment, press this

If one of the star ting conditions is not met, a reminder message appears in the instrument panel screen. In some circumstances, it is necessary to turnthe steering wheel slightly while pressingthe "START/STOP" button to assistunlocking of the steering; a messagewarns you when this is needed.
With a manual gearbox, put the gear lever in neutral.With the electronic gearboxsystem

For Diesel vehicles, in very cold weather the engine willnot star t until the preheater warning lamp has gone off.
If this warning lamp comes on after

With the electronic key inside the vehicle(it is not necessary to put it in the reader),
press the brake pedal for vehicles with
automatic
gearbox or electronic gearbox system, or fully declutch for vehicles with

The "Keyless Entry and Star ting" devicemust be in the defined zone.
