\1Resetting the sliding door:
Close
the sliding door completely once by
pressing and holding down the
switch on the center console or in
the doorway.
Then
\1
Open and close the sliding door com-
pletely once by pressing and relea-
sing one of the switches.
This restores normal operation of the
sliding door.You can fix the rear doors in place at an
angle of approximately 90° or 270°.
Rear doorsWarning

When you open the rear door:
\4there must be sufficient clearance
\4make sure that nobody can become
trapped
Warning
G
The rear lamps are concealed by more
than 50% when you open the rear doors
through 90° or more.
The vehicle is then not sufficiently safe-
guarded at the rear and may only be seen
by other road users when they are close
to the vehicle. This could lead to an acci-
dent.
Make sure, therefore, that the vehicle is
safeguarded at the rear in accordance
with national legal requirements, e.g. with
a warning triangle.

swivel it 180° against the spring
pressure and onto the door, where it
engages. The door retainer then re-
mains in this position and no longer
returns to its original position.
Before closing the door, release door

turn it to its original position.

Opening / closing the rear door from
the insideThe opening lever is on the inside of the
right-hand rear door. If a white marking
is visible, this indicates that the rear
door is unlocked. Open rear doors only
when conditions are safe to do so.

Pull the right-hand rear door firmly
closed by the door handle.

Only the rear door is locked.
The white marking is no longer visi-
ble.
Using the central locking switch, you
can centrally lock or unlock from the in-
side either the entire vehicle or the slid-
ing doors and rear doors only.The central locking switch is located on
the center console.

from the inside

Do not leave children unsupervised in the
vehicle, even if they are secured by a child
restraint system. The children could:\4injure themselves on parts of the

The indicator lamp in the central locking
switch indicates when the sliding doors
and the rear door are locked. You can
determine whether the driver's door or
passenger's door is locked or unlocked
by the position of the locking knobs.

out.As a standard feature on all vehicles, all
doors lock automatically when a speed
of 9 mph (15 km/h) is reached.
On some vehicles, depending on the
equipment, all doors lock automatically
as soon as the ignition is switched on*.
You can unlock and open a locked door
from the inside at any time.

If your vehicle is centrally locked, this
could hinder rescue operations from the
outside in the event of an accident.When the automatic locking when
driving function is activated, there is
a risk of being locked out if the vehi-
cle is pushed or towed.
For this reason, always deactivate
the automatic locking when driving

before pushing the vehicle

before having the vehicle towed

if you are only leaving the vehicle
for a brief period
iFor information about different set-
tings, please contact your authorized
Sprinter Dealer.iIf activated, automatic locking is de-
activated if the vehicle is unlocked or
locked using the central locking

Automatic locking is reactivated af-
ter the ignition is switched off or a
door is opened with the vehicle sta-
