FIAT PANDA 2015 319 / 3.G Owners Manual

NoteFor Panda Cross and Panda 4x4 versions if the space-saver wheel is used, the control unit for 4x4 drive detects its
presence (via the wheel speed signals) and reduces the intervention of the four-wheel drive to a minimum, while guaranteeing
the agility of the vehicle. No fault/alarm signal is displayed on the instrument panel or on the display.
COLD TYRE INFLATION PRESSURE (bar)
When the tyres are warm, add +0.3 bar to the pressure value prescribed. However, recheck that the value is correct with the
tyre cold. With snow tyres, add +0.2 bar to the pressure value prescribed for standard tyres.

NoteFor Cross and 4x4 versions, do not drive deliberately for long distances with the tyres flat (not at the prescribed pressure)
and/or with greatly varying pressures between front axle and rear axle, in order to avoid any malfunction of the 4x4 drive.
SNOW CHAINS
183) 184) 185)66)
Important
The use of snow chains should be in compliance with local regulations of each country. In certain countries, tyres marked with
code M+S (Mud and Snow) are considered as winter equipment; therefore their use is equivalent to that of the snow chains.
The snow chains may be applied only to the front wheel tyres.
Check the tension of the snow chains after the first few metres have been driven.
Using snow chains with tyres with non-original dimensions may damage the vehicle.
Using different size or type (M+S, snow, etc.) tyres between front and rear axle may adversely affect vehicle driveability, with the
risk of losing control of the vehicle and resulting accidents.
Snow chains cannot be fitted to the space-saver wheel (for versions/markets, where provided). If a front tyre is punctured,
replace a rear wheel with the space-saver wheel and move the rear wheel to the front axle. In this way, with two normal drive
wheels at the front, snow chains can be fitted.

WARNING
180)The maximum speed for snow tyres marked “Q” is 160 km/h, while it is 190 km/h for “T” tyres and 210 km/h for "H" tyres. The highway
code speed limits must however always be complied with.
181)185/55 R15 82T tyres cannot be fitted with chains.
182)175/65 R14 82T tyres can be fitted with reduced size snow chains: 9 mm.
183)175/65 R15 84T tyres can be fitted with reduced size snow chains: 7 mm.
184)Keep your speed down when snow chains are fitted; do not exceed 50 km/h. Avoid potholes, steps and pavements and avoid driving
for long distances on roads not covered with snow to prevent damaging the vehicle and the road surface.
185)DO NOT fit wheel hub caps when using integral hub caps fixed (with springs) to the steel rim and after sale tyres provided with Rim
Protector. Use of unsuitable tyres and wheel caps may cause sudden loss of tyre pressure.
WARNING
66)When the snow chains are on, use the accelerator with extreme care to prevent, or to limit as much as possible, the driving wheels from
skidding. This could cause the chains to break, resulting in damage to the vehicle body or mechanical components.

Dimensions are expressed in mm and refer to the vehicle equipped with its standard-supplied tyres. Height is measured with
vehicle unladen.
