Temperature Control– Rotate the
knob to adjust the temperature of
the airflow inside the vehicle.
Fan Speed Control– Rotate the knob
to adjust the volume of air circulatedin the vehicle.
A/C– Uses outside air to cool the
vehicle. Airflow will be from the
instrument panel vents only. The air conditioning will only function
if the outside temperature is about
43°F (6°C) or higher.
Max A/C– Uses recirculated air to
quickly cool the vehicle. Airflow will
be from the instrument panel vents
only. MAX A/C is noisier than A/C,
but more economical and efficient. This mode can also be used to help
prevent undesirable odors from entering the vehicle. The air conditioning will only function if
the outside temperature is about
43°F (6°C) or higher.
Panel– Distributes outside air
through the instrument panel vents.
Panel and Floor– Distributes outside
air through the instrument panelvents and the floor vents.
Floor– Distributes outside air through
the floor vents.
Floor and Defrost– Distributes
outside air through the windshield
defroster vents and the floor vents.
Defrost– Distributes outside air
through the windshield defrostervents. It can be used to clear ice or
fog from the windshield.
Operating Tips:Under normal weather conditions, do not
leave the airflow selector in the MAX A/C or OFF position when the vehicle is parked.
This allows the vehicle to "breathe" usingthe outside air inlet vents.
Do not put objects under the front seats
that will interfere with the airflow to theback seats.
