passtEmp – Press to activate the passenger side
climate control (dual zone). Turn the control to increase/
decrease temperature. Press again to turn off and return
to single zone where the driver side temperature control
determines the temperature for the entire vehicle cabin.
driVEr/passEngErhEatEdsEats:Press once to activate high heat (two indicator lights)
and twice for low heat (one indicator light). Press again
to turn off.
auto: Press to activate automatic temperature
control. The system will automatically determine fan
speed, airflow location, A/C (on or off) and outside or
recirculated air, to heat or cool the vehicle to reach the
desired temperature. Press again to deactivate.
maXa/c: Press to distribute recirculated air through
the instrument panel vents to cool the vehicle. This mode
is more economical and efficient. Recirculated air may
also help reduce undesirable odors from entering the
vehicle. Press again for normal A/C operation.
: Distributes outside air through the windshield
defroster and demister vents to clear thin ice or fog from
the windshield.
: Press repeatedly to cycle through the manual
override controls which allow you to select where airflow
is directed.
: Press to recirculate the cabin air. Recirculated
air may reduce the amount of time needed to cool
down the interior of the vehicle and may also help
reduce undesirable odors from reaching the interior of
the vehicle.
: Press to activate and clear the rear window and
side heated mirrors (if equipped) of thin ice and fog.
Press again to deactivate. The defroster will turn off
automatically after 10 minutes.
accEssingthErEarclimatEcontrols
Press
to turn the rear controls on/off.
Press REAR CTRL to change control of the rear climate
controls from the front to the rear controls.
Press TEMP + to increase or TEMP – to decrease the
temperature for the rear climate area.
Press
+ to increase or – to decrease the fan
speed for the rear climate area.

powEr/caBintEmpEraturE – Press
to turn the climate control system on/off and turn to
increase/decrease the vehicle cabin temperature. If the
passenger temperature control is activated, this control
will only adjust the driver side temperature.
Use extreme caution when using any device or feature that may take your attention off the road. Your primary
responsibility is the safe operation of the vehicle. Only use non-essential features and devices when it is safe to do so.
Vol(powEr/VolumE): Press to turn On/OFF. Turn
to increase/decrease volume.
clock: Press CLOCK to set the time. The display will
read SET TIME. Use the memory preset numbers (0–9)
to enter the desired time– hours and minutes. The clock
will then begin from that time. note: If your vehicle
is equipped with an in-dash clock, refer to the clock
description in the instrument panel section of this Quick
Reference Guide.
am/Fm: Press repeatedly to cycle through AM, FM1 and
FM2 frequency bands.
sEEk : Press to access the previous/next strong
radio station, satellite radio channel (if equipped) or
CD track.
sound: Press SOUnD repeatedly to cycle through:
Bass, Treble, Fade, Balance, DSP mode (if equipped,
Stereo Surround and Stereo modes) and Speed
Compensated Volume. When the desired selection
appears in the display, press
SEEK to
make adjustments.
dirEct: Press DIRECT and then, using the memory
presets (0-9), enter in the numbers of the desired station,
track, MP3 folder or satellite channel.
mEmoryprEsEts(0–9): You can save up to 30
radio stations (10 each in AM, FM1 or FM2) or 30 satellite
radio channels (10 each in SAT1, SAT2 or SAT3) in your
memory presets. Tune to the desired station or channel
and simply press and hold a memory preset (0–9) until
sound returns.
load: To load a CD into the system, press LOAD. When
prompted, select the desired slot (1-6) using the memory
presets and insert the CD into the system. Press and hold
LOAD to autoload up to six discs. Insert the discs, one at
a time, when prompted.
scan: Press for a brief sampling of radio stations, CD
tracks or satellite radio channels. Press again to stop.
sirius: Press SIRIUS to access satellite radio mode
(if equipped), and cycle through SAT1, SAT2 and SAT3
modes. Once satellite radio is active, press MEnU
repeatedly until SATELLITE RADIO MEnU appears in the
display. Refer to your Owner’s Guide for more information.

7. multi-FunctionlEVErRotate the end of the control up/down to increase/decrease the speed of the wipers. Push the end of
the stalk: quickly for a single swipe without fluid, hold briefly for three swipes with washer fluid and
hold for a longer wash cycle.
To operate your rear window wiper, turn the rear wiper control to 1 (intermittent speed), 2 (normal
speed) or O (off). For a rear wash cycle, rotate and hold the rear wiper control to either of the
positions. Your rear window wiper is equipped with heated wiper blades which work to help reduce ice
buildup and are automatically activated when the ignition is turned on.
Note: For optimal wiper performance, clean your blades and glass regularly. Refer to your Owner’s
Guide for more information.
8. mEssagEcEntEr
The message center displays important vehicle information through a constant monitoring of vehicle
systems. The system will also notify you of potential vehicle problems with a display of system
warnings followed by a long indicator chime. Refer to your Owner’s Guide for more information.
rEVErsEsEnsing
Your reverse sensing system can warn you if there is an object behind the vehicle. The system
will sound a warning tone that increases in frequency as the object gets closer and will sound
continuously when the object is less than 10 inches away. The system turns on automatically when
the ignition is on and the vehicle is placed in reverse (R). The system can be manually disabled
through your message center controls. Note: Visibility aids do not replace the need to watch where
the vehicle is moving. Refer to your Owner’s Guide for safety information, more detail, and limitations.
9. hazardFlashEr
Press to activate the front and rear direction signals when your vehicle is disabled and is creating a
safety hazard for other motorists. Press again to turn off. The hazard flashers will operate when the
ignition is in any position or when the ignition is turned off.
10. adVancEtrac®withrollstaBilitycontrol™Your vehicle is equipped with an AdvanceTrac® stability system. This system consists of three main
features: Traction Control™ (helps avoid wheel spin and loss of traction), Electronic Stability Control
(helps avoid skids or lateral slides), and Roll Stability Control™ (helps avoid a vehicle roll-over). These
features work together to help you to maintain stability and steerability of your vehicle during a
variety of road conditions. If your vehicle becomes stuck in the snow, mud or sand, try turning off the
AdvanceTrac®
® system to allow wheel spin and help increase momentum to dig the vehicle out. The
system defaults to on and the control will illuminate when turned off.

4.anti-lockBrakEsystEm(aBs)warninglight
The ABS light illuminates briefly when the ignition is turned on. If
the ABS light remains on or continues to flash, a malfunction has been
detected. Have the system serviced immediately by your authorized
dealer. normal braking (less ABS) is still functional unless the brake
warning light
is also illuminated.
5.paddlEshiFtErs(ifequipped)
The six speed SelectShift Automatic™ transmission gives you the
ability to manually change gears without taking your hands off the
wheel. To use, move the gearshift lever from the Drive position (D) to
the Manual position (M). To downshift, push the paddle shifters on the
steering wheel control forward. To upshift, press the paddle shifters
on the steering wheel rearward. The instrument cluster will show the
current selected gear you are in. For more information, refer to your
Owner’s Guide.
6. stEEringwhEElcontrols(ifequipped)
To set the speed:
1. Press On.
2. Accelerate to the desired speed.
3. Press SET + or SET – and take your foot off the accelerator.
• To set a higher speed, press and hold SET + or press SET +
repeatedly until the desired speed is reached.
• To set a lower speed, press and hold SET – or press SET –
repeatedly until the desired speed is reached.
• To return to a previously set speed, press RESUME.
• To turn off, depress the brake pedal or press OFF.
VOL +/- : Press to increase/decrease volume levels.
: Press to access the previous/next radio station, CD track or
preset satellite radio channel.
MEDIA : Press repeatedly to access all possible media sources.
: Press to access voice recognition, if equipped.
: Press to access SYnC® phone features, if equipped.

Your vehicle may be equipped with an ambient lighting feature. The control is located in the center console
storage area, and when activated, illuminates four footwells and two cup holders with a choice of several
colors. Ambient lighting is operational when the ignition is on or in the accessory position. Press the
control repeatedly to turn on, cycle through your color choices and turn off.
hEatEd2ndrowsEats(ifequipped)
Your vehicle may be equipped with heated 2nd row seats. Press the control on the rear of the front center
console once to activate high heat, twice to activate low heat and three times to deactivate.
sync®(ifequipped)

: Turns on parking, instrument panel, license
plate and tail lamps.
: Turns on low beam headlamps.
: Autolamps (if equipped): Automatically
turns the exterior lamps on/off based on
available daylight.
: Turns on fog lamps (if equipped) by pulling
the control towards you.
PaNel DiMMer coNTrol
Move to adjust the desired lighting level. Move
the control to the full upright position to turn on
the interior lamps. Move the control to the full
downward position to turn off the lights.

sErVicEEnginEsoonlight
The service engine soon light illuminates
briefly when the ignition is turned on. If it
remains on or is blinking after the engine is
started, the On Board Diagnostics System
(OBD-II) has detected a malfunction. Drive in a
moderate fashion and have your vehicle serviced
immediately by an authorized dealer.
3. airBagrEadinEsslight
The airbag readiness lightilluminates briefly
when the ignition is turned on. If this light fails to
illuminate, remains on or continues to flash after
the engine is started, have the system serviced
immediately by your authorized dealer. A chime
will also sound if a malfunction in the indicator
light is detected.
