ECO Assist Scoring
Monitors the fuel efficiency of your driving style in real time and converts results
into leaves, which are displayed in a series of five “plant” icons on the MID.
Once you start your vehicle, make sure the MID shows the Ecological Drive
Display on the display to view your Eco Assist score in real time.
As you drive, you earn leaves if you drive in a fuel\befficient manner, or lose
them if you drive inefficiently.
When you turn the ignition off, your drive cycle and lifetime score are
displayed on the MID.
Eco Score
Each time you reach
a new stage, a Stage
Up Recognition icon
briefly appears on
the MID. When you
reach the highest
ranking, a Trophy
icon briefly appears.

While driving, the
engine is on. While at a stop,
with the brake
pedal pressed, the
engine turns off. When you take your
foot off the brake
pedal, the engine
turns back on.
Note: Auto Idle Stop only functions if you com\8e to a stop with the shift lever in the D or
N position.

IMA Gauge
The gauge shows you when the
IMA motor is assisting the
engine or charging the battery.
Note: The IMA assist may not
operate under certain conditions.
Auto Idle Stop
Shuts the engine off at a stop in order to maximize fuel efficiency. Idle stop
duration varies depending on certain conditions, such as climate control
operation, IMA battery level, and outside temperature.
How It Works
Shows the status of the Integrated Motor Assist (IMA) system.

Paddle Modes
P A D D L E S H I F T I N G
Manually shift your vehicle’s speeds up or down. Useful for engine braking, when
driving in hilly terrain, or cornering.
Pull(\b) to shift down. Pull(
+ ) to shift up.
How It Works
T I R E P R E S S U R E M O N I T O R I N G S Y S T E M ( T P M S )
Monitors the vehicle’s tire pressures.
Each tire valve stem
contains a TPMS sensor.
When the tire pressure drops
significantly below
recommended levels, the low
tire pressure indicator comes
on and “CHECK TIRE
PRESSURE” appears on the
MID.
What to Do
\f.
Visually inspect the tires for
damage.
2. Use a tire air pressure gauge to
check which tire(s) have low
pressure.
3. Inflate the tire(s), if necessary,
to the recommended pressures
listed on the label on the
driver’s doorjamb.
DPaddle Shift Mode
• Shift into Drive (D).
• Pull (+) or (\b) to temporarily switch from
automatic to manual shift mode.
• The speed number is displayed on the shift indicator.
• When the vehicle’s speed is constant, the mode returns to automatic.
7Speed Manual Shift Mode
•Shift into Second (S).
• Pull (+) or (\b) to switch to manual shift mode.
• The M indicator and speed number are displayed on the shift indicator.
• Pull and hold (+) to cancel this mode.
L (Low) Mode
•Shift into Second (S).
• Pull and hold (+) and (\b) at the same time
until L is displayed on the shift indicator.
• Use this mode to get more power when going up hills and more engine braking when going
down hills.
• Pull and hold again to cancel this mode.

• Only use unleaded gasoline of 87 octane or hi\2gher.
• Some gasoline in North America contains MMT, a manganese\bbased fuel additive.Prolonged and consistent use of gasoline containing M\2MT can deteriorate your
vehicle’s performance, fuel economy, and the emissions control system. Always use
MMT\bfree gasoline if available. Failures caused by use of gasoline containing MMT
may not be covered under warranty.
• “TOP TIER Detergent Gasoline” meets a new gasoline standard jointly established by leading automotive manufacturers to meet the needs of today’s advanced
engines. In most cases, qualifying gasoline retailers will identify their gasoline as
having met “TOP TIER Detergent Gasoline” standards at the retail location. This
fuel is guaranteed to contain the proper level of detergent additives and be free of
metallic additives. This helps avoid build\bup of deposits in your engine and emission
control system. Because the level of detergency and harmful metallic additives
(such as MMT) in gasoline vary in the market, Honda endorses the use of “TOP
TIER Detergent Gasoline” where available to help maintain the performance and
reliability of your vehicle. For more information, visit www.toptiergas.com.
• For further important information on fuel and lubricants for your car and information on gasoline that does not contain MMT, contact your dealer or visit

Your vehicle is equipped with airbags. Airbags do not replace seat belts; they add to the protection offered by seat belts. Airbags can help protect you in some types ofcollisions, but they do not provide protection in all collisions.
Always make sure you and your passengers wear seat belts, and that young children are properly secured in a child seat or booster in the rear seat. Never place aninfant seat in the front passenger’s seat as the force of a deploying airbag can seriously injure an infant.
