To tilt up the back of the moonroof ,
press and hold the center button
( ). To close the moonroof ,
press and hold the top of the switch
( ). To open the moonroof ,
press and hold the bottom of the
switch ( ).The moonroof has a key-of f delay.
You can still open and close the
moonroof f or up to 10 minutes af ter
you turn of f the ignition. The key-of f
delay cancels as soon as you open
either f ront door. You must then
turn the ignition to the ON (II)
position f or the moonroof to operate.
The moonroof can be tilted up in the
back f or ventilation, or it can be slid
back into the roof. Use the switch
under the lef t dashboard vent to
operate the moonroof . You must
turn the ignition switch to the ON
(II) position f or the moonroof to
operate.
On EX-L and Touring models

Opening or closing the
moonroof on someone’s hands
or fingers can cause serious
injury.
Make sure all hands and fingers
are clear of the moonroof
before opening or closing it. If you try to open the moonroof in
below-f reezing temperatures, or when
it is covered with snow or ice, you can
damage the moonroof panel or its
motor.

clean and adjusted f or best visibility.
Be sure to adjust the mirrors bef ore
you start driving.
The inside mirror has day and night
positions. The night position reduces
glare f rom headlights behind you.
Flip the tab on the bottom edge of
the mirror to select the day or night
position.The inside mirror can automatically
darken to reduce glare. To turn on
this feature, press the button on the
bottom of the mirror. The AUTO
indicator comes on as a reminder.
When it is on, the mirror darkens
when it senses the headlights of a
vehicle behind you, then returns to
normal visibility when the lights are
gone. Press the button again to turn
of f this sensing. Turn the ignition switch to the ON
(II) position.
Move the selector switch to L
(driver’s side) or R (passenger’s
side).

Push the appropriate edge of the
adjustment switch to move the
mirrorright,left,up,ordown.
When you f inish, move the
selector switch to the center (off)
position. This turns the
adjustment switch of f to keep your
settings.The outside mirrors are heated to
remove fog and frost. With the
ignition switch in the ON (II)
position, turn on the heaters by
pressing the button. The indicator in
the button comes on as a reminder.
Press the button again to turn the
heaters off. To apply the parking brake, push the
parking brake pedal down with your
f oot. To release the parking brake,
push on the pedal again. The parking
brake indicator on the instrument
panel should go out when the
parking brake is f ully released with
the engine running (see page ).

You can adjust the position of the
brake pedal, and accelerator pedal
when the shif t lever is in the Park
position. Push the top of the
adjustment switch to move the
pedals f orward, and the bottom to
move them backward.To adjust the pedals:
Pushandholdthetopof the
adjustment switch until pedals are
closest to you.
Adjust your seat and the steering
wheel so you can operate the
controls and steering wheel easily.
Pushandholdthebottomof the
adjustment switch until pedals are
in the position you can press them
f ully and comf ortably.

Be caref ul when you are using the
beverage holders. A spilled liquid
that is very hot can scald you or your
passengers. Spilled liquids can
damage the upholstery, carpeting,
and electrical components in the
interior.
To use the retractable center tray,
pull up the outside edge of the tray
until it latches. To store it, pull the
lever and lower the tray. Sitting on or getting under the tray,
or putting heavy objects on the tray,
may damage or deform it.
Do not keep items on the tray while
driving. They may f all down or f ly
around when you go around corners
or brake hard.

To protect the beverage holder, the
bottom tray is designed to break
away if you try to place a heavy
object on it. If this happens, hold the
edge of the bottom tray and pull it up
until you f eel a detent.
Be caref ul not to damage an open
beverage holder when you get into
or out of the vehicle.
The beverage holders f or the third
seat passengers are in the armrests
ontherearsidepanels.
Each second row seat has a
beverage holder on the outside of
the seat cushion. To use the
beverage holder, push on the tab.
The beverage holder will swing open.
To close, pivot it up and push it in
until it latches.
To use the f ront beverage holder,
pull the handle.
Additional beverage holders f or the
frontseatpassengersareinthe
retractable center tray.

The removable second row console
has a beverage holder on the f ront.
To use the beverage holder, push on
the f ront lid. The lid will swing open.
To close, lower the lid, and push it
down until it latches.Each rear sliding door has an
integrated sunshade. To use a
sunshade,holdthetabonthetop
and pull the sunshade all the way up.
Insert the holes on the sunshade into
the hooks on the window f rame. To
store the shade, unhook it, and let it
retract all the way down.The sunshades are intended f or use
only when the windows are f ully
closed. If a window is opened, the
shade can be blown of f its hooks. As
the shade automatically retracts, it
could hit and hurt anyone sitting too
close to the window.

The sunglasses holder uses a convex
mirror f or its bottom panel. You can
see all the vehicle passengers on this
mirror. To use the mirror, open the
sunglasses holder f ully, push it to the
f irst detent, and release it.
To open the sunglasses holder, push
on the raised point. It will unlatch
and swing down. To close it, push it
until it latches. Make sure the holder
is closed while you are driving.
Some larger styles of sunglasses
may not f it in the holder.
You may also store small items in
this holder. Make sure they are
small enough to let the holder close
and latch, and that they are not
heavy enough to cause the holder to
pop open while driving.
To switch back to the sunglasses
holder, close the conversation mirror
and then open the sunglasses holder.

To open the compartment, pull the
lever and lif t the lid. To close, lower
the lid and push it down until it
latches.
To use the sun visor, pull it down.
Whenusingthesunvisorforthe
side window, remove the support rod
f rom the clip, and swing it out.
Make sure you put the sun visor
back in place when you are getting
into or out of the vehicle. Pull up the vanity mirror cover to use
the mirror. The lights come on when
you open the cover. Make sure you
close the cover when you are not
using the vanity mirror.
The vanity mirror light will not come
on if the sun visor is slid outward.
