Press POWER button  to turn radio on.
•	TUNING / LISTENING TO CHANNELS
 1. Press RADIO  .
 2.  Rotate TUNE knob      to desired channel.
NOTE
 A clear view of the southern sky is recommended to ensure XM® radio reception.
• SETTING PRESET MEMORY BUTTONS (FM/AM/XM® )
 Press and hold any preset button (1-6)      until audible beep is heard  to store current channel.
• ADJUSTING THE SOUND CONTROL
 1. Press TUNE knob      to select.
 2.  Select “ Bass / Mid / Tre / Fad / Bal ” by rotating TUNE 
   knob , then press TUNE knob  to select.
   3. Rotate TUNE knob  to adjust, then press TUNE knob .
  4.  Press TUNE knob  when done.

4.   Enable Bluetooth on your mobile phone. Select ACCENT from the 
Bluetooth device list on your mobile phone.
5.  Input passkey displayed on the screen.
6.  After pairing is completed, your phone may start to transfer phone/
contact list to the audio system.
  - This process may take a few minutes depending on the phone    
    model and number of entries in the phone/contact list.
 -  Some phones may request approval to download phone/contact 
list to the audio system. (If approval is not granted, the phone may  
 frequently disconnect or not download phone/contact list.)
Phone setup (pairing phone) with Audio
1. Push the PHONE button .

2.  Select “Phone” item by rotating 
the TUNE knob , then press  
TUNE knob  to select.
3. Select “Pair” by rotating the TUNE
 knob , then press TUNE knob .
NOTEVehicle must be parked to complete pairing process. - The phone will pair if the ignition is set to ACC or ON. -  If standing outside and the ignition is set to ACC or ON, the phone may pair depending on the phone radio frequency.

Shifting into Reverse 
1. Fully depress the clutch pedal. 
2. Ensure shifter is in Neutral.
3. Press the reverse lock-out button and shift left to Reverse.
MANUAL TRANSMISSION
Sport mode 
Move the shift lever from D to the  right gate to select.
Move the shift lever forward (+) to upshift or rearward (–) to downshift.
AUTOMATIC  TRANSMISSION
() :   Depress the brake 
pedal when shifting.
() :    The shift lever can  
be moved freely.
AUX, USB  and  iPod  PORT 
Use the jack to connect an external 
audio device and listen to it through 
the audio system speakers in your 
vehicle.
NOTE
To operate your iPod® through 
the vehicle’s audio system,
a Hyundai adapter cable is 
required. 
This cable can only be purchased 
at your local Hyundai dealer.

 until the clock blinks.
2. Rotate the TUNE knob  to adjust.

FEATURES AND CONTROLS
ELECTRONIC  STABILITY  CONTROL (ESC) 
The ESC system is an electronic    system designed to help the driver  maintain vehicle control under    adverse conditions.
	 •		To turn the ESC off, press the ESC  OFF button.
	 •		To turn ESC on, press it again.
	 •	 		System defaults to ON position  at start.
TIRE  PRESSURE  MONITORING  SYSTEM (TPMS)
LOW TIRE PRESSURE INDICATOR 
Illuminates if one or more of your tires is significantly under-inflated. 
TPMS MALFUNCTION INDICATOR 
Blinks for approximately one minute then remains illuminated if there  
is a malfunction with the TPMS system. Have the system checked by 
an authorized Hyundai dealer.
NOTE
Tire pressure may vary in colder temperatures causing the low tire 
pressure light  to illuminate.

ACTIVE ECO SYSTEM 
Active ECO system(automatic transmission)
Active ECO system helps 
improve fuel efficiency by 
revising the calibration of engine, 
transmission, and air conditioning.
Press to activate. An LED will 
illuminate on the button, and the 
ECO indicator will illuminate in the 
instrument cluster.
Press again to deactivate.
ECO shift (manual transmission)
   or     symbol is displayed along 
with the recommended gear 
number, which indicates you 
should upshift or downshift for 
higher fuel efficiency.
     When Active ECO system is activated, the behavior of the vehicle  
will change to a suppressed acceleration and delayed gear shifts
   under part throttle operation.
To improve your fuel efficiency:
• Drive smoothly, accelerate at a moderate rate.
• Avoid full throttle shifts.
• Maintain steady cruising speed.
•   
Adjust your speed to the traffic to avoid unnecessary speed changes.
•  
Take care of your tires, keep them inflated to the recommended 
pressure, use the TPMS to prevent low pressure and excessive tire wear.
• Don’t let the engine idle longer than necessary.
• Avoid unnecessary braking.
